I Know The Democrats Are Full Of It, I Never Thought They Would Mail It!

The Democrats throw pies, salad dressing, paint, and Molotov cocktails at their opponents, and now it’s…dog feces:

Republican U.S. Rep. Marilyn Musgrave’s re-election campaign was already heated, and it just got smelly as well: Her staff accused a Democratic activist Thursday of leaving an envelope full of dog feces at Musgrave’s Greeley office.
Musgrave spokesman Shaun Kenney said someone stuffed the envelope through the mail slot in the door on May 31 and then sped away in a car. Kenney said most of the preprinted return address was blacked out, but staffers used the nine-digit ZIP code to trace it to Kathleen Ensz, a Weld County Democratic volunteer.

Ensz told The Associated Press she left the envelope at Musgrave’s office but said it “wasn’t in the office doors, it was in the foyer.” Asked what she meant by the act, she declined comment.

Denver 7 News reports that the accused, um, dog poop depositor comes from academia. Why am I not surprised:

Ensz was charged with criminal use of a noxious substance. She is a professor emeritus at UNC [University of Northern Colorado].

She taught French. Denver Post has more:

Ensz began teaching at UNC in 1970 and earned her emeritus status in 2000, said UNC spokeswoman Gloria Reynolds.
Since she is no longer on staff, she doesn’t face sanctions, Reynolds said.

A receptionist at Musgrave’s campaign office saw a woman drive up to the office and cram the offending mailer through the outer door’s mail slot, according to Musgrave officials.

Musgrave staff members also traced the mailer back to Ensz’s neighborhood, where they spotted the car she allegedly drove to deliver the mailer and a large German shepherd, said Aaron Johnson, Musgrave’s communications director.

“It’s a large dog, and it apparently makes a big mess,” he said.

Contrary to AP characterizations, Ensz is no mere “volunteer.” She holds an official Dem Party position as Colorado Senate District 13 Democratic Central Committee vice chair.

Charlie Brennan, Rocky Mountain News: “Talk about your smear campaigns.”

Super Fun Power Hour: “What a crappy thing to do.”

Dafydd at Big Lizards: “Ah, Democrats. I remember reading a sign warning me about this sort of thing the last time I visited the monkey cage at the zoo.”

Jon Ham notes more misleading reporting on the story:

The Associated Press has moved a story with this headline: “Dog Feces Left at Congresswoman’s Office.” And what’s the lede of the story?:
Republican U.S. Rep. Marilyn Musgrave’s re-election campaign was already heated, and it just got smelly as well: Her staff accused a Democratic activist Thursday of leaving an envelope full of dog feces at Musgrave’s Greeley office.(emphasis added)

You would think that police are still out searching for the culprit in this incident, but you would be wrong. In the third paragraph a Democratic activist admits leaving the, er, token after the congresswoman’s enterprising staff traced her through a ZIP code on the envelope containing the feces. So why not just lede with that and write the headline appropriately?

Perhaps no offense was intended! It could be that the envelope just contained a sample of the democrite message, a representative symbol of what they are all about!

LOL,,, good story. Got a news for the libs that taunted “the Army cant meet their goals” over the last year or so… “WASHINGTON (AP) — The Army said Friday it surpassed its recruiting goal for May, marking the 12th consecutive month of meeting or exceeding its target.”

This is sort of juvenile, degenerate, bottom-of-the-barrel tactics that the Democrites resort to. They are not above harassing and attacking GOP voters, or removing or defacing GOP campaign signs. They’ll vandalize cars with republican bumper stickers. They vandalized GPO offices in the last election. They lie, they cheat, they steal. They engage in massive, organized vote fraud.

They are the lowest form of scum in the political slime pond.

“I recall just recently SF Liberal making the remark about the Army not meeting it’s recruiting goals…”

“The active duty Army has met its recruiting goals for 12 months in a row, U.S. Army officials said.

While it is good news for the service, which a year ago found itself falling short in recruiting the number of new soldiers needed to keep the Army at full strength while fighting two wars, it also reflects the fact that it has lowered its recruiting targets.”

Soooo, Robert…It seems that they’re only meeting their goals because they recently lowered the goal. Interesting bit of news.

Sorry for my general statemnt about stool. Spade = Spade. I will NEVER not speak the truth. I don’t care if it hurts sombody’s feelings. We cannot afford to loose ourselves, our culture, our nation, because we are afraid we might “offend” some sissy. If this country doesn’t wise up, we will be taken “without a shot” by the self-hating liberal traitors in this country. Oh, believe me I have seen right ling nuts, running us off the cliff, however, is seems the left wing libs/commies are our true enemies of our culture, the culture of the west. Not white or black or whatever culture, but American Culture. If we are not careful, they will turn our country into a 3 world nation. You can laugh a Fred Dawes comments all you want,,, but there is a certian truth to them. A bit reactionary, (no offense Fred), but there is truth to it. So, whilst the majority of our country focuses on whats on the latest trendy TV show, our enemies within, are plotting our destruction. They are not ignorant, their self-hatred of our civilization welcomes our destruction. AHHHH! nevermind.

As I said, Cicero sums you people (libs who would betray their country and what is good for their recycled communism) up the best. “For this day’s work, lords, you have encouraged treason and opened the prison doors to free the traitors. A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and he carries his banners openly against the city. But the traitor moves among those within the gates freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears no traitor; he speaks in the accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their garments, and he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation; he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of a city; he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to be feared. The traitor is the carrier of the plague. You have unbarred the gates of Rome to him.”

Uhhh, you’re not even coming close to hurting my feelings, guy. You’re just making your arguments or your points or whatever you like to call them, much less effective when you lower yourself to the speaking-level of an 8th grader.

Regarding your opinion that the Left is destroying America, man…believe me, the Left often feels the same way about the Right.

    That’s a two way street you’re on.

“An ad hominem argument, also known as argumentum ad hominem (Latin, literally “argument against the person”) or attacking the messenger, involves replying to an argument or assertion by attacking the person presenting the argument or assertion rather than the argument itself”.

I vote that was not the kilo we know in #14.

More Iraqi-Al Qaeda links from before the Invasion surface.

Mo matter how much we buttress the truth, the left denies it and lives in their alternate universe. They still think Michael Moore tells the truth in his movies.
