ROVE WILL NOT BE CHARGED IN PLAMEGATE

By: Pam On: Jun/13/06 - 9 Comments

This will come as a major blow to the left!

Special Counsel Patrick Fitzgerald has told White House aide Karl Rove that he does not expect to seek charges against him in connection with the CIA leak case, Rove’s lawyer said today.

In a statement this morning, Robert Luskin, Rove’s attorney, said that Fitzgerald “has formally advised us that he does not anticipate seeking charges” against Rove.

“In deference to the pending case, we will not make any further public statements about the subject matter of the investigation,” Luskin said in the statement. “We believe that the Special Counsel’s decision should put an end to the baseless speculation about Mr. Rove’s conduct.”

Put that in your pipe and smoke it!

The problem is that they have already used this manufactured scandal for all the political propaganda value it could generate.

It has already become part of the Democrite dogma that Rove, et al outed “an undercover CIA operative” as revenge for Joe Wilson honestly reporting the results of his trip to Niger and revealing the fallacy of Bush’s yellowcake WMD link to sadaam.

The facts won’t change that, unfortunately.

That’s true Robert but at least this is out there for review. And it will be public record for anyone who wants to investigate.

Now do you think the media will issue an apology to Rove for having him tried and convicted before due process? Only in our dreams I suppose.

Oh, the Libs will be calling for Congressional hearings, especially if we have Speaker Pelosi after the elections, as well as Impeachment of the President by Jan 22.

If there were justice in the world. Many of the Senior Dems in the house would be thrown out by the voters, especially the San Francisco Democrats.

They’ll be demanding a report from Fitzgerald explaining why he didn’t bring Rove up on charges.

4, Sasha, Chuckie “The Putz” Schumer is demanding such a report. I notice he never demanded such reports about Clinton or Hillary.

WASHINGTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–June 13, 2006–The following is a statement by Christopher Wolf, Proskauer Rose LLP, Counsel for Ambassador Joseph Wilson and Valerie Plame Wilson
We have become aware of the communication between Mr. Fitzgerald and Mr. Luskin concerning Karl Rove’s status in the criminal investigation. We have no first-hand knowledge of the reason for the communication or what further developments in the criminal investigation it may signal. While it appears that Mr. Rove will not be called to answer in criminal court for his participation in the wrongful disclosure of Valerie Wilson’s classified employment status at the CIA in retaliation against Joe Wilson for questioning the rationale for war in Iraq, that obviously does not end the matter. The day still may come when Mr. Rove and others are called to account in a court of law for their attacks on the Wilsons.
