“Helen, will you stop heckling and let me conduct a press conference?”
H/T to Newsbusters for the story
Snow stopped in the middle of answering a question and said, “Helen, will you stop heckling and let me conduct a press conference?” Helen mumbled something inaudible, and Snow said: “Well, no, I’m making an argument and you’re, you’re pestering the teacher.”
This video courtesy of Crooks and Liars is must-see TV!
Is that not priceless?

I’m surprised that a conservative blog and the crooksandliars people would turn on Snow like that. (!)
The link even goes on to say:
“Tony hasn’t faired too well in his new job.”
Helen laughed it off…
Tony was rattled. Not good for a White House Press Sec.
Did you post this thinking it makes Snow look good?!?!

Are you guys joking?!? Tony looked like a dork!
Helen LAUGHED at him!
…and he got frazzled which is bad form.
AND the web site went on to say: “Tony hasn’t faired too well in his new job.â€
“pestering the teacher” ?? Helen has more knowledge and experience in her little finger than Snow has in his entire being.
She laughed at him!

…do conservative media watchdog sites often link to liberal media watchdog sites?
Am I the only one who thinks that a bit strange?

4- Helen probably breaks wind at the press conferences and thinks that’s funny too..she is a tired joke amongst the press corps! He was in perfect form!
BTW, I credited Crooks and Liars, and rightly so..I gave them credit for their work..they had the video link I needed. (just explaining that to you and others..it is wrong to take and not credit)

If I remember correctly, Helen is now a columnist, not a reporter. Seeing as the White House can pull her credentials, I don’t see why they even allow her in the briefings. She’s not only been disrespectful, she’s been flat out rude. While rude and disrespectful may be the hallmark of a good reporter (which she no longer is) among the liberal left, it’s considered as unacceptable behavior in polite society. I don’t give a rat’s ass if she respects Bush or Snow, she should still show respect for the office. Heaven knows while having the flag at Dad’s funeral being presented to Mom in the name of Billy BJ turned my stomach, I still would not have been that rude to him while he was in office. Hell, if he’d had the balls to stand up after the Monica gig and say “Yep, I banged the babe. She’s half my age and have you seen my wife lately? How could I resist?” I’d have stood up and cheered for him. Helen lacks common civility and deserves to have her credentials revoked. Perhaps if they booted a few of these crude and crass relics, the press briefings can get back to being about releasing information instead of answering idiotic questions and reiterations of idiotic questions from ignorant reporters who aren’t trying to report the news, but rather to produce spin to support their opinions rather than the facts. For example…See Dan Rather and the comment of “even if the documents were forgeries, I still think the gist of the story was correct.” Who cares what Dan Rather “Thinks”? He’s supposed to be reporting the news, NOT MAKING IT UP.

I’m glad somebody finally had the guts to put the curmudgeon hag in her place. Next time I’d have her removed. Better yet, don’t even let her in next time.
As usual, SFL takes the opposite side. Just because…
