The New York Times has the right to print anything they want. However they also have a responsibility to NOT publish things that could be harmful to this country. The problems in this country, as I see it, is that while people are being taught that they have rights, but are not being taught that those rights come with responsibilities. That's the whole crux of the problem.

Which is more important: Catching terrorists to prevent future attacks, or making meaningless sensationalist attacks against the Bush administration that essentially aids the terrorists in avoiding detection? Unfortunately, the NYT has repeatedly decided that attacking the Bush administration is more important than protecting the lives of American citizens.

"Let one major terrorist attack occur on American soil and then it comes out that it wasn't prevented because of ther NY Slimes and others and you will see the end of Leftism in America."

Oh Please. More like: if there is one major terrorist attack on American soil, don't say good bye to Leftism...say goodbye to Democracy!

One more attack would give Bush all the "justification" he needs to dismantle civil liberties, clamp down on dissent, install security checkpoints, imprison Americans without charges...the list goes on and on.

If I were a praying man, I'd pray everyday that Bush is not president during our next terror attack. God help us all if he's still in charge when the next one hits.

"they put George W. Bush in the white house:TWICE."

Mike, Mike, Mike...this isn't 2004 anymore, as much as you wish it was. Bush has gone DOWNHILL each day since that election, and his job approval ratings are stuck in the 30's. VERY poor performance since re-election...

-----------------------------------------------------

"They have re-elected Republican majorities in the house AND senate."

And have regretted it since. Have you seen the numbers on Congress??!? They are polling worse than the president is, in terms of job approval. Another way to tell you that you are looking at the past and not the future is that the Dems are now leading Repubs in just about every area of domestic and foreign policy...even without a firm plan.

What we're seeing happen here is major Republican fatigue. Your side has had control for over 6 years now, and it's been nothing but shit/crap/and ass with your team at the helm. And the voters are looking for change.

I'm not going to predict anything for the upcoming November election, but I'm saying, and you have to admit, it's looking REAL BAD for your team right now.

The public is SICK TO DEATH of republican failure.

----------------------------------------------

"gee, for being "unhinged"we somehow still represent the majority, and you represent the kooky fringe"

Again, you are living in the past here. Look at the polls. Majorities of Americans side with DEMOCRATS on most major issues now.

Again, it's Republican fatigue. Voters have seen what your party does with its 6+ years of power, and they DON'T LIKE IT.

This is a FANTASTIC time to be a liberal democrat. The bush/rove machine is FINALLY starting to crack under its own weight.

"oh the times, they are a changin'!"

"I wish I could show you people or describe to you just how fucking stupid, rabid and unhinged many of you look when you attack the NYTs and other reporters for exercising their constitutional right to a free press."

They have the Constitutional right to publish classified information that materially harms and undermines the ability of our law enforcement agencies to do their job, a job the American people want them to do?

They have the Constitutional right to, during wartime, provide consistent aid and comfort to the enemy by intentionally misrepresenting the news, even lying and fabricating stories, to undermine military morale and the resolve of the American people to win, thereby proviiding aid and comfort to the enemy?

You must have your own version of a Konstitution. Do you know hoe fucking stupid, rabid, and unhinged you look when you support behavior like the NYT and the other boll weevils.

That's why your Democrap party is spiraling into the toilet, along with Air Jizzerra Radio and the New York Slimes.

Let one major terrorist attack occur on American soil and then it comes out that it wasn't prevented because of ther NY Slimes and others and you will see the end of Leftism in America.

They have put republicans in the Majority of Governor's mansions and state houses throughout america.

Wow! Thanks for posting that piece! It was RIGHT ON.

And the pics were very interesting too.

You guys make me laugh. An investigative journalist is doing his job, taking images of an enemy we rarely see. To study these people up close like that, takes tremendous amounts of courage.

I wish I could show you people or describe to you just how fucking stupid, rabid and unhinged many of you look when you attack the NYTs and other reporters for exercising their constitutional right to a free press.

Keep it up; and you guys might scare even MORE voters away from your political positions than you already have!

It sounds like the longer this whole thing goes on; the more unhinged some you guys become.

Whose side is the NY Times taking anyway?

Little Green Footballs (via Ace of Spades HQ) finds a photographer for the NY Times, Joao Silva, in a very suspicious position - he took pics while a terrorist fired on US troops in Iraq

I have just composed the lyrics for a new theme song for the Left. This can be for Liberals, Leftists, Socialists, Greenies, Environazis, and even the New York Times traitors too! Here it is:

Wacko wacko wacko wacko woo woo woo,
I said
Wacko wacko wacko wacko woo woo.
Wacko wacko wacko wacko woo woo woo,
We're
Wacko wacko wacko wacko woo woo.
