The Liberal rag “The Nation” is writing articles blaming Israel on the violence. I find that shameful but par for the course I guess.

I also took a look at aljeerza website and it’s just incredible the amount of biased news on there. You know the one that blames Israel for the deaths of children, blah, blah, blah. Not one single thing about Terrofat and his rejection of the peace plan, the 800 missiles in over a year fired at Israel and the children they killed nor the conceding of the Gaza strip.

    I support Israel.

As I’m sure nearly every Arab state over there has their Warheads aimed at key Israeli cities…

So whats your point? That they can both kill eachothers innocent civilians?

SFL-You always hear in the media concerns about how Iran is going to nuke the holy land, I just can’t see it. The fastest way to turn all muslims against them would be to nuke their holy land. I can’t see them or any of the other arab nations being that suicidal and stupid.

Iran is almost a decade away from having an A-Bomb…

Iran is cutting one check away from having an a-bomb. The North Koreans have them and need money for food. Why wouldn’t they sell one to the Iranians? Hell, the Pakistanis have them, and there really isn’t a damn thing stopping Pakistan from selling one to Iran but a few hundred miles of mountainous terrain. It would take a jet flying out of PyongYang, but only a truck out of Islamabad. The jet would probably be faster.

Why is it that liberals think that the Iranians will take twice as long to develop an A-bomb with modern technology than it took the US to produce one with 1940s technology??

Does that seem racist to anyone else?

I’m still waiting to hear what we’re going to do about the Mexican narcoterrorists firing automatic weapons at a group of US Border Patrol and Deputy Sheriffs from the Mexican side of the border into Texas. Personally, I’m tired of the crap. It’s high time we made the call to Fox and tell Vinny that if he doesn’t get control of his damn country, we’re going to do it for him. If he doesn’t take care of the problem, we should go ahead and infiltrate a few special operators into Mexico and burn a few drug dealers’ haciendas to the ground. It’s time to introduce the drug cartels to what the war on drugs really means.

Right now it sounds good to them to make that statement. Kinda setting the stage for accusations that the Bush admin:

    1. Is acting too hastily.
    2. Isn’t doing enough.
    3. Is at fault for all of this anyway.

FAO #12. Exactly right. Money can do a lot of things, especially when you have friends like NK, and don’t forget some in the former Soviet Union that will do anything for enough money.

That’s a dose of reality and logic, things the Left doesn’t understand and refuses to acknowledge.

“U.S. Intelligence Review Contrasts With Administration Statements”

    P.A.R.A.N.O.I.A, Mike K…

That can’t be healthy for you. (!)

If Iran were to use ONE nuclear weapon, the state of Iran would cease to exist. They know this, and thus they will not use a bomb for fear of losing power.

They would use an A-Bomb as leverage…like everyone else does who has them.

But that’s not nearly as serious as actually using it.

So try no to let fear eat away at you, my friend. When you are worked up like that, you make bad decisions.

Why yes, of course, Iran and its leaders are intelligent, rational, considerate, shrewd politicians who can be relied upon to act with logic and reason just like countries with nukes have for 50 years. Yes, it suits the Leftist argument to pretend this is so, therefore, we shall make believe!

Unlike you San Fran I don’t see the U.S. getting it’s ass kicked over in Iraq. What I see are lots of good being done for the Iraqi people. I also see the fighting as our military fighting terrorists. Something for which I am glad we are doing over there rather than here. Bring it on and hope that when it’s all finally over we have killed or captured the worst of them.

San Fran, I’m not going to insult you. There’s no point to that. You are right, you have quoted a US intelligence report. What you have failed to take into consideration is the findings of a congressional hearing on the topic of proliferation that found that while the US intelligence report on the subject was correct in its assumptions of individual countries developing nuclear weapons on their own, it had failed to take into account the possibility for international cooperation such as sales. The congessional hearing also said that with the current instability in eastern Europe and Asia, it is readily conceivable that a rogue nation with nukes could sell them to another country. Let us also not forget that the former Soviet Union had thousands of Nuclear devices that have yet to be dismantled and with their economic conditions, the possibility of a few members of their military going rogue and selling off a couple of small nukes isn’t very far fetched.

    >

I’d love to hear your explanation for this one. Iran has existed as a country for thousands of years, it just happened to be called Persia before. How exactly, other than them detonating it in Tehran, would them detonating a nuke destroy them? Do you think Israel has enough nukes to retaliate? Do you think the UN has the nads for a fight to throw the Imams and Mullahs out of control of the country? Do you think that the US Army in Iraq wouldn’t be their second target if not their first?

    >

Well you got that one right, but you’ve failed to take into consideration the comments of the Iranian President about wanting to start what is the equivalent of Armageddon. While liberals tout a need for cultural sensitivity, you’ve failed to address a major point in the argument. The Islamofascists have been lead to believe that they are on a holy mission from Allah to first rid the world of the “Great Satan” (the US) and the little one (Israel), followed by conquering what remains in the name of Islam. I understand that this kind of brutal violent imperialism is foreign and incomprehensible to most members of the Liberal movement, but just because you don’t want to believe it exists, doesn’t mean it doesn’t.

While mainstream Islam does teach tolerance and caring for other faiths, especially Judaism and Christianity, the radical Islamofascists have eliminated that from their faith. It will eventually be their undoing, but in the interim how many more will have to die? And how long will it be before the liberal left Kumbaya crowd at the UN realize that you can’t negotiate with religious zealots, nor can you allow them to continue spreading their vitriol unchecked? The longer we wait to end the lunacy that these maniacs are spreading the more blood that is going to be spilled. Lives will be lost in the interim due to inaction, and as time goes by they will become stronger resulting in the loss of more lives in the war that it will take to defeat them. Make no mistake, there are only two options here, destroy Islamofascism or convert. If we don’t destroy it, and it wins, more countries will fall under the tyranny that it represents.

It was once written that all it takes for evil to succeed is for good men to do nothing. This is not an evil that we can allow to succeed. It is a cancer that MUST be totally eradicated before it spreads any further. Unfortunately, like surrounding cells when removing a cancer, a lot of good people (including children) are probably going to die in the fight. One major problem is that as long as we don’t go in with massive force and eradicate the problem whenever and wherever it’s found, it will continue to spread.
