From Michelle Malkin:

It’s U.N. man! Circa 1972:

Thanks to reader Giles Babb for sending me this decades-old Oliphant cartoon he clipped from the December 1, 1972, issue of Stars and Stripes.

Babb writes: “You could just as easily run the cartoon in tomorrow’s paper, and no one would know that it had run nearly 34 years earlier.”

Debbie Schlussel has more U.N./terror pictures worth a thousand words.

Fausta remembers another instance of U.N./terror coziness. Anti-Mullah has more.

I wrote on the ambulances-for-terrorists scandal in June 2004.

One more image, kind of apropos of this report on Hezbollah refusing to allow civilians to leave their village and using mosques in their ambush on IDF soldiers at Bint Jbeil Wednesday:

Hitler would have loved the UN. Gun control, hatred of Jews, pro-abortion, anti-American. If Hitler was for it, the UN supports it.

Keep it up my friends. Angry right wingers will ensure the demise of the 1994 Republican Revolution. The day you relax and take a hard uncomfortable look at your own actions is the day that the Democratic party and the left as a whole will fade into oblivion. Until then, it’s all we have against the religious right who will stop at nothing to turn the US into their own religious caliphate and the neo-cons who constantly hold up morality to justify their greed.

Such potential wasted. I hope it was worth it…

Back about the time of WW I there was a cartoon which showed president WOODROW WILSON trying to sell the idea on the LEAGUE OF NATIONS to UNCLE SAM the league was shown as a brokendown horse ready for the glue factory and later about the time of WW II another shows FDR trying to get UNCLE SAM interested to the United Nation even while JAPAN is seen robbing CHINA in the background> Frankly we should leave thw wretched UN and move the whole rotten bunch to cuba

“Until then, it’s all we have against the religious right who will stop at nothing to turn the US into their own religious caliphate…”

I think the political power of the so-called religious right is a bogeyman invented by the Democrites to rally their side. At best it is a minority within the Republican party. Nobody wants to turn America into a theocracy. What we want is for the Anti-American Communist Liberals United (ACLU) to stop trying to stamp out every public vestige of our traditional, historical majority religion (while ignoring every non-traditional religion, such as Islam).

At this point the religious left (the doctrine and dogma of Liberalism) is more of a threat to the future of the U.S. than any religious right, imo. Look at what its zealots (NY Times, for example) are doing: undermining the Nation in times of war, deliberately, providing aid and comfort to the enemy. Hampering the ability of law enforcement to do its job, deliberately. I’d say that’s a whole lot more of a problem than Pat Robertson.
