There goes the neighborhood
Through sneaky methods, lies and deceit – Cindy Sheehan (remember her?) has secured a permanent residence in Crawford, Texas.
An associate of Sheehan’s, one Gerry Fonseca from Gold Star Families For Peace, purchased a 5-acre parcel for $52K in Crawford. Mr. Fonseca purchased the land with money from Sheehan’s son’s life insurance policy.
Because they knew that Sheehan would have difficulty purchasing land in Crawford herself, Mr. Fonseca posed as a Hurricaine Katrina evacuee and purchased it for Cindy Sheehan – - who apparently has issues with facing up to her reputation and hid behind a tree (or something) while the land was purchased for her.
“I feel deceived,” said Celia Ramsey, who sold the land to Cindy Sheehan through a third party. She talked to News Channel 25 exclusively on the matter. “I would have never sold it to Sheehan. Nobody wants them here.”
There’s the understatement of the universe. Heck, I live in Wisconsin and wouldn’t want Cindy Sheehan as a neighbor, if I had anything to say about it. And you certainly wouldn’t find me selling her any property here.
Ramsey is seeking legal advice on this situation . . . but I’m not entirely sure if there is a legal leg she could stand on. I don’t think buyer misrepresentation would stand in a court of law.. but I could be wrong.
But what a yellow thing to do, hey?

This might turn on them big time. Fraud comes to mind as does the IRS. Cindy had better have her house in order because she may just have opened herself up to a legitimate investigation.

How typical of the modus operandi of the Left: Deceit, misrepresentation, lying etc. Typical…

I don’t know about the laws in Texas, but it would certainly be considered a straw purchase and there might be certain legal implications involved in that regards. The funny thing is, they paid top dollar for the land, and Bush is going to be out of office in 2 1/2 years, so what are they going to do with it then.

I wonder if she has purchased a headstone yet for her son’s grave? Talk about priorities.
