Brian Williams Compares Terrorists To Our Soldiers And Firefighters
Mark Finkelstein reports that Brian Williams appeared on Hardball last night and had this to say:
“Here we have maybe 24 people who have lived in London and England and the free world for all these years that become citizens, subjects of the Crown, and, yet, after having gotten to know us, they want to kill themselves to hurt us. Isn’t that an even deeper conundrum here than the chemicals being used in these attacks?”
Williams [appearing from London's Heathrow airport]: “And that, Chris, that last aspect, the willingness to take one’s own life — I always tell people there are guys on our team like that, too. They’re called Army Rangers and Navy Seals and the Special Forces folks and the first responders on 9/11 who went into those buildings knowing, by the way, they weren’t going to come out. So we have players like that on our team.”
Let’s see here..one starts the day with the intention of killing innocent people, while the other starts their day with the notion of saving innocent people.

The only comparison that Brian Williams should be making is the incredible similarity between his anal orifice and his mouth. He obviously suffers from cerebral hemmoroids, for which the only cure is a rectal lobotomy, which in his case should be easy to accomplish since he’s all asshole. My only hope is that he’s still alive when the next revolution starts.

While his comments are at best reprehensible, what makes me even more angry is that NOONE in the MSM has had the courage to stand up and take him to task for them. I have to think that they must therefore agree with him. For those people I have only the hope that perhaps when their homes are burning down or their lives are in danger that the first responders remember this comment and temper their willingness to respond accordingly. Legally the police have no requirement to respond to a call for help. That argument has been settled in the Supreme Court time and again.

It’s an adapt comparison. “Army Rangers and Navy Seals and the Special Forces folks and the first responders on 9/11″ willing to die for a cause they believed in was right. The same trigger in the mind that let’s one sacrifice one’s life is active in both groups.
