That is an inane position to hold. I will submit for EVERYONE reading this that this is exactly what is wrong with America today. Like it or not, it takes both liberal and conservative philoshpies to steer this country on its proper course. A difference in opinion in and of itself does not make one any less of of an American than anyone else. It doesn’t create a “seperate” America. As a matter of fact, it is exactly that which is our strong point and our founding fathers understood that. Of late the citizens of this country are just plain too stupid to realizie this. SFL seems to be a prime example. “You disagree, so you are part of a different America than I, because you voted differently.”

Balderdash! Moronity at its very essence, I say!

Anyone who holds such a position just doesn’t understand what America really is about, and they have my utmost pity.

apparently, SF is VERY into polls and popular opinion now.. so, in his honour, I propose a NATIONAL referendum on the following:

1. Partial birth abortion (support or oppose)

2. gay marriage (support or oppose)

3. national flat tax (or sales tax) (support or oppose)

4. UN Membership / funding (support continued membership / support continued funding)

5. Illegal Immigration (support / oppose mass deportation) (support / oppose security fence and drastically increased police presence on border)

I would LOOOOOOVVVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEEEEEEEE to see the results of THAT referendum (I’m quite certain SF would NOT)

24-A better example would be public schools. Visit an inner city school and then visit a wealthy community and their public school.

You are right in that it is a shame that the liberals with the assitance of the ACLU have taken the education system down the path it is on. Gone are the days when the troublemkers were kicked out. Gone are the days when you could segregate the students by learning ability.

The inner city schools are the way they are because of liberals that have made it the way it is. Government dependence is to blame for this..not rich people.
