Was The SanFrancisco Car Rampage Aimed Towards Jews?

Although Mayor Gavin Newsom is trying to play that down at this time, there appears to be evidence to the contrary. Omeed Aziz Popal, 29, was arrested , and three others have been taken in for questioning, for a San Francisco-area hit-and-run spree that killed one and injured 14 others. SF Chronicle reporting:

San Francisco police spokesman Sgt. Neville Gittens said the attacks in the city occurred at 12 locations over a 20-minute period.
“The hits were intentional,” he said, noting that police are treating them as assaults.

Gittens had no information about a possible motive.

Popal was arrested after patrol cars boxed in his black Honda SUV, its windshield and right front headlight smashed, outside a Walgreens store on Spruce Street between California and Mayfair in the Laurel Heights area.

A dental office manager, who identified herself only as Kira, watched from a second-floor window as police dragged the driver out of his vehicle.

“He was absolutely indifferent, no fear, no expression,” she said. “He was like a zombie.”

Architect Jeremy Warms also saw police pull Popal out of the SUV and sit him down on the curb.

“He looked calm and pretty clean-cut, like a normal guy,” Warms said. “He sat on the pavement for a good 25 minutes. I don’t think anyone said anything to him. They put him in a police car and took him away.”

This evening, it was unclear exactly how many people had been injured, and in what order the incidents occurred. The police reported the following injuries:

– Two people, one of them a child, were seriously injured on the 3500 block of California Street in Laurel Heights.

– Three people were hit at California and Fillmore streets. Witnesses said they included a man with a broken hip and a woman with a gashed head.

– Two people were seriously hurt at Bush and Pierce streets.

– One person was seriously injured at Bush and Buchanan streets.

– One person suffered minor injuries in an incident at 1850 Fillmore St.

– Two other people suffered minor injuries when they were hit at Pine at Divisadero streets.

– Two people were hit and suffered minor injuries at Divisadero and Bush streets.

As reported by LGF

The SUV struck two people in front of the Jewish Community Center of San Francisco on California Street, a few blocks from where the rampage ended.
Blood covered the sidewalk in front of the center’s gift store entrance, and 50 feet farther down the sidewalk lay a mangled bicycle.

Security cameras in front of the center captured images of the incident, which happened at 1:12 p.m., according to Aaron Rosenthal, spokesman for the community center.

It appears that the attacks happened within a Jewish community.

What a terrible tragedy, but don’t hold your breath on this getting much MSM coverage!

Nearly all of these attacks happened within 1/4 of a mile from my apartment, though I was at work downtown when they happened.

I live 3 blocks away from the JCC…I would not characterize the area as a “Jewish Community”.

I think the anti-Jewish angle people might be pushing is more than a little off base.

1- Glad you weren’t hurt in this. I think my use of community was wrong, but what is being reported is that a high population..one attack was in front or near a kosher deli…anyway..I hope I am wrong, but I bet I won’t be.

Here’s a good map of the area and the attacks…the numbers are how many victims were involved at the scene.

I live at California & Divisadero St. (on the map)

My thought on this is the same as my thought on the attacks on the Jewish Community Center in Washington not too long ago. Things like this simply don’t happen in Israel because the Israelis won’t allow themselves to become victims of this sort of idiocy. My ex-wife and daughter are Jewish but I think I instilled one conservative value in my ex-wife before we broke up. That being the concept of being responsible for your own safety. Privately owned firearms are the single best way for the average person to protect themselves. It absolutely amazes me that the same Jewish community that rabidly supports Israel, where almost half of all school teachers carry concealed firearms as a means to prevent any further terrorist attacks on schools, also support gun control laws here.

Every Jew in this country should go to the website for JPFO and read what is written there. While the opinions of a goyum from a red neck midwestern state may not hold much weight with them, the opinions and historical information presented there should.
