Although the picture I was able to get is not a good one, take a look at the size of the building. This is the Jameah Islameah property, on Catt’s Hill near Crowborough, East Sussex, and it is an Islamic teaching facility for boys aged between 11 and 16. During the last inspection of the facility, there were 9 students enrolled. Given the size of the facility, either Jameah Islameah has fallen on hard times — which seems unlikely given the current state of affairs — or it served as something more than an instructional facility.

According to BBC correspondent Keith Doyle the halal Chinese restaurant “was full of people, including children, when around 40 police officers wearing riot gear raided it shortly after ten o’clock.
“Diners were told they were being questioned under the Terrorism Act.
“Each was asked to give their name and address, after which those arrested were taken away in handcuffs.”…
The restaurant’s owner, Madi Blyani, said he had been surprised by the arrival of a large number of police officers.
“It was surprising actually, because plenty of them suddenly came in all together. There were more than 50 or 60 of them,” he said.
“They suddenly came inside because they were suspicious of some of the customers, and they talked to them.
“They talked to them (for) more than one hour, two hours. And they arrested some of them.

I read this story online and it mentioned that the arrests were the result of cooperation between the police and British intelligence services. The very kind of cooperation that the Jaime Gorelick wall was put into place to stop. The very same type of cooperation that would’ve probably stopped 9/11 because multiple intelligence agencies knew about Atta’s and other terrorists’ ties to Al Quaeda, knew they were in the country, and had reason to believe they were planning something, but were unable to share that intelligence with the FBI. Just imagine what might have happened had the Phoenix FBI flight school memo had been combined with the CIA and Able Danger (Army Intelligence) information about the terrorists’ ties to Al Quaeda in Germany and the Middle East 72 hours BEFORE 9/11 instead of 72 hours afterwards. With the fact that the Democrats would like to reinstate Gorelick’s wall in mind, does anyone really believe that the Democrats are strong on defense? Or perhaps the Dems really do believe that the rights of the Muslims to commit violent criminal acts outweigh the rights of everyone else on that flight to actually live their lives in peace.

BTW has anyone heard about the ABC miniseries on what lead up to 9/11? It strictly sticks to documentable facts and paints a VERY unflattering picture of the Clinton administration’s 8 years in office. Reportedly there have been a flood of complaints from Clinton staffers and Billy BJ is reportedly planning on calling the CEO of Disney (ABC’s parent company) to ask that it be reedited to not be so harsh (leave out a lot of facts) on his administration if not pulled from being shown entirely. Rush reports that in one scene, a CIA/ Northern Alliance strike team had Osama Bin Laden’s hideout surrounded, but when they called in for permission to hit it, the team leader was told that they wouldn’t authorize it because the press over civilian casualties would be too bad. Reportedly he was told by Sandy (oh gee look what fell into my pants leg) Berger that if he chose to strike the house and the press got wind of civilian casualties, it’d be on his head. The strike team leader pulled back his team.

Personally, I’d have hit the house, wiped out everyone inside and released a statement to the press that the massacre was the result of intertribal/taliban conflict or rigged the whole thing to blow sky high and said it was the result of an accident at an Al Quaeda bomb making facility.
