I use the example of Jews because we recognize them, where as Muslims are not recognized, period. We are taught that if we believe in Jesus Christ, the only son of God, that we will be atoned for our sins and be in heaven with God. We are taught that God has another form of atonement for the Jew. But it is not taught that the Jews will burn in hell. Even those that are running around saying accept Jesus as your lord and savior are not threatening at gun point the conversions. With the soldiers returning home, the nuclear family was broadened and societal outlook was more for the common good than the individual. America was more prosperous than ever and the standard of living skyrocket, and that still holds true today. Families could be very comfortable on a single income and still "keep up with the Jone's".
