Insight of a Sergeant Major
This piece is written by J.D. Pendry, a retired Army Command Sergeant Major, who writes for Random House.
Jimmy Carter, you’re the father of the Islamic Nazi movement. You threw the Shah under the bus, welcomed the Ayatollah home and then lacked the spine to confront the terrorists when they took our embassy and our people hostage. You’re the runner-in-chief.
Bill Clinton, you played ring around the Lewinsky while the terrorists were at war with us. You got us into a fight with them in Somalia, and then you ran from it. Your weak-willed responses embolden the killers. Each time you failed to respond adequately they grew bolder, until 9/11.
John Kerry, dishonesty is your most prominent attribute. You lied about American Soldiers in Vietnam. Your military service, like your life, is more fiction than fact. You’ve accused our Soldiers of terrorizing women and in Iraq. You called Iraq the wrong war, wrong place, wrong time, the same words you used to describe Vietnam. You’re a fake. You want to run from Iraq and abandon the Iraqis to murderers just as you did the Vietnamese. Iraq, like Vietnam is another war that you were for, before you were against it.
John Murtha, you said our military was broken. You said we cant win militarily in Iraq. You accused United States Marines of cold-blooded murder without proof. And said we should redeploy to Okinawa. Okinawa John? And the Democrats call you their military expert. Are you sure you didn’t suffer a traumatic brain injury while you were off building your war hero resume? You’re a sad, pitiable, corrupt and washed up politician. You’re not a Marine sir. You wouldn’t amount to a pimple on a real Marines butt. You’re a phony and a disgrace. Run away John.
Dick Durbin, you accused our Soldiers at Guantanamo of being Nazis, tenders of Soviet style gulags and as bad as the regime of Pol Pot who murdered two million of his own people after your party abandoned South East Asia to the Communists. Now you want to abandon the Iraqis to the same fate. History was not a good teacher for you, was it? See Dick run.
Ted Kennedy, for days on end you held poster sized pictures from Abu Grhaib in front of any available television camera. Al Jazeera quoted you saying that Iraqis torture chambers were open under new management. Did you see the news this week Teddy? The Islamic Nazis demonstrate real torture for you again. If you truly supported our troops, you’d show the world poster-sized pictures of that atrocity and demand the annihilation of the of it. Your legislation stripping support from the South Vietnamese led to a communist victory there. You’re a bloated fool bent on repeating the same historical blunder that turned freedom-seeking people over to homicidal, genocidal maniacs. To paraphrase John Murtha, all while sitting on you wide, gin-soaked rear-end in Washington.
Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Carl Levine, Barbara Boxer, Diane Feinstein, Russ Feingold, Hillary Clinton, Pat Leahy, Chuck Schumer et al ad nauseam. Every time you stand in front of television cameras and broadcast to the Islamic Nazis that we went to war because our President lied. That the war is wrong and our Soldiers are torturers. That we should leave Iraq, you give the Islamic butchers the same ones that tortured and mutilated American Soldiers – cause to think that we will run away again and all they have to do is hang on a little longer.
American news media, the New York Times particularly. Each time you publish stories about national defense secrets and our intelligence gathering methods, you become one with the sub-human pieces of camel dung that torture and mutilate the bodies of American Soldiers.. You cant strike up the courage to publish cartoons, but you can help Al Qaeda destroy my country. Actually, you are more dangerous to us than Al Qaeda is. Think about that each time you face Mecca to admire your Pulitzer.
You are Americas axis of idiots. Your Collective Stupidity will destroy us. Self-serving politics and terrorist abetting news scoops are more important to you than our national security or the lives of innocent civilians and Soldiers. It bothers you that defending ourselves gets in the way of your elitist sport of politics and your ignorant editorializing. There is as much blood on your hands as is on the hands of murdering terrorists. Don’t ever doubt that. Your frolics will only serve to extend this war as they extended Vietnam. If you want our Soldiers home, as you claim, knock off the crap and try supporting your country ahead of supporting your silly political aims and aiding our enemies. Yes, I’m questioning your patriotism. Your loyalty ends with self. I’m also questioning why you’re stealing air that decent Americans could be breathing. You don’t deserve the protection of our men and women in uniform. You need to run away from this war this country. Leave the war to the people who have the will to see it through and the country to people who are willing to defend it
No Commander in Chief, you don’t get off the hook either. Our country has two enemies.. Those who want to destroy us from the outside and those who attempt it from within. Your Soldiers are dealing with the outside force. Its your obligation to support them by confronting the axis of idiots.
America must hear it from you that these people are harming our country, abetting the enemy and endangering our safety. Well up a little anger please, and channel it toward the appropriate target. You must prosecute those who leak national security secrets to the media. You must prosecute those in the media who knowingly publish those secrets. Our Soldiers need you to confront the enemy that they cannot. They need you to do it now.

Bush angry, petulant today in front of reporters
Remember the first Presidential debate in 2004? The nasty, arrogant, petulant George Bush showed up, surprising many Americans and throwing a sagging Kerry back into the race.
Bush appeared to show total disdain for the whole idea that he could be questioned. He sneared, he was abrupt, and he appeared angry. Well that George Bush showed up again today in front of reporters.
The talking heads and pundits have all spent the last two weeks talking about how much he is helping his party with these speeches. Well now he is being pressed by McCain and others on the Hill, and he can’t handle it. Today he ripped his mask off again. He let his true self come out. The mean, petulant, blue blood frat boy made an appearance.
Let Allen, or Santorum, or whoever go back to their districts and tell their voters how much they support this President. I dare them to.

A salute to Sergeant Major J.D. Pendry! Someone finally said it. It won’t matter that we win in Iraq if we loose the war here at home. Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Carl Levine, Barbara Boxer, Diane Feinstein, Russ Feingold, Hillary Clinton, Pat Leahy, Chuck Schumer, American news media, and Americas axis of idiots should all be thrown in the NYT building and then it should be sacked and burned. Maybe it will come to that …. one can only hope.

You have got to love Sgt Majors. A friend told me a story about how he was standing in formation as a short timer with about 2 weeks left when the Sgt Major of the Army (the single highest ranking Non commissioned officer in the Army for those who haven’t served in the military) came through on his farewell inspection tour. When the Sgt Major got up to my buddy and saw the need for a haircut and his uniform needing a good pressing, he looked at him and said “Short timer, huh?” My friend responded with ” x number of days and a wakeup Sgt Major.” To this the Sgt Major smiled, leaned over and whispered into my friend’s ear “Six days and a wake up Sgt.” My friend said it was all he could do to keep from breaking out laughing. The Sgt Major then moved on to the next soldier in line.
BTW John if my physical goes well on Monday, I may be heading over to the Gulf to join you. I’ll probably end up going to Europe, but the Gulf isn’t out of the question either. It all depends on what I can get into.

Man I wish I had the time to research and rebut this properly.
I’m surprised he didn’t throw in the cute little “K”linton. But I digress… I suppose the missle attack Clinton initiated on the AL Qaeda Sudanese chemical plant wasn’t enough to cancel out some BS hyperbole about Somalia.

The “K” in Klinton isn’t just cute. It’s quite serious, and it is in honor of a special part of his legacy: When an American company tried to transfer missile guidance technology to the Chinese, the State Dept. blocked the transfer. Klinton stepped in at the request of the company and personally overrode the State Dept. and allowed the transfer to go through.
As a result, the Chinese now have a much better means of targetting our cities with their ICBMs. Isn’t that wonderful? Yaaaahhh! THANKS, Mr. Klinton!
Here’s a link to an article detailing the Klinton China connection
Klinton had been financed by the Chinese since his early Arkansas days. So there you go, the quick lesson on why the K in “Klinton.

And if the Klinton supporters need more info, here’s an article written by Bob Woodward, no friend of the Right:
It is about the Klinton connections to Chinese intelligence.

Sorry to have to burst the bubble for Klinton legacy types. Klinton’s legacy is in the toilet, and falling fast.

By the way, SAR Pendry’s statement nails it: 100% CORRECT.

Robert, I’m sure you’re a nice guy, but you didn’t do yourself any favors by citing that article and opening up the “COX Report” can of worms.
The COX report has never been fully declassified. Your article is at best circular reasoning begging the “questions” raised by the article you cite.
Further, the author of this article conveniently omits critical facts, such as the fact that the accused researcher (Wen Ho Lee) who’d had his clearance revoked was later found completely innocent.
Let’s keep on going shall we
The COX report is generally considered overstated, but what is not in dispute is that the theft of nuclear secrets happend over several decades. According to my math, there were more republican administrations over those “several decades” than democrat. Are you giving a pass to the Reagan and Bush administrations when you cite such an article? I’ll remind you that the COX report was chaired by a majority of Republicans…
Plenty more fodder in there, but I do need to get to bed.

There are many, many more links. I don’t wish to fill up RV with all of them. A Google search will list them.
Theft of nuclear secrets did happen over more than one admin. But Klinton, with his known chicom finance links, had more than his share. Plus his special hands-on approval.
He definitely deserves the “K”. That’s my point.

Sergeant Major Pendry,
I hope this reaches you and all the other veterans out there.
We – you, I and the other vets – took an oath: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx The Oath of Office (for military enlisted members. Title 10, US Code; Act of 5 May 1960 replacing the wording first adopted in 1789, with amendment effective 5 October 1962). “I, _____, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.”
The Oath of Office (for military officers. DA Form 71, 1 August 1959, for officers.) “I, _____ (SSAN), having been appointed an officer in the Army/Navy/Marine Corps/Air Force/Coast Guard of the United States, as indicated above in the grade of _____ do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign or domestic, that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservations or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office upon which I am about to enter; So help me God.” xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx My question is quite simple:
Are we in violation of our oath and in dereliction of our duty?
