Ahmadinejad Spoke At UN.. Blames U.S. And Israel For his Problems

By: Pam On: Sep/19/06 - 7 Comments

At least he could have gotten some new material! This is getting tiresome!

  • President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad took aim at the body Tuesday, saying the United States’ permanent inclusion on the council undermines its effectiveness and credibility.
  • Speaking to the U.N. General Assembly, Ahmadinejad had particularly harsh words for what he called the council’s inaction in Lebanon, Iraq and the Palestinian territories.
  • Referring to Israel, he said, “That regime has been a constant source of threat and insecurity in the Middle East region.”
  • On Iraq, Ahmadinejad said the United States — whom he called “the occupiers” — is “incapable of establishing security,” and scores die daily as a result.
  • He called on the General Assembly “to rescue the Security Council from its current state” by including envoys from Africa, the Middle East and the Non-Aligned Movement.
  • He also took issue with the United States’ claim that Iran wants nuclear missiles, saying the U.S. has “a bleak record of using them against humanity.”
  • Chirac is said to have been proud of his little buddy!

It is perfectly understandable! Why should the U.S. be a permanent U.N. member? Just because we provide the venue, we provide the lion’s share of the budget, we provide most of the muscle anytime anything gets done. And the U.S. has generally done more to help the world than any other nation. And it is a global leader and superpower.

But none of that matters! Perhaps Hizbollah should take the place of the U.S. at the UN!!!

Well I agree with him there! The UN should have ensured Hizbollah left Lebanon before, and used force if necessary.

He also took issue with the United States’ claim that Iran wants nuclear missiles, saying the U.S. has “a bleak record of using them against humanity.”

Uh-huh. And had the U.S. not ended WWII with nukes, at least 1 million more Japanese and Americans would have died. Yep, that was a real evil thing…

Peejz there is probably some twisted Leftist out there somewhere right now hailing Yabadabadoo as some great statesman.

If you haven’t heard Robert. The UN has already stated that the “New and Improved” UNIFIL force under French command WILL NOT attempt to disarm Hezbollah in Lebanon. So much for the ceasefire or the UN resolution that preceded it 5 yrs ago that called for Hezbollah to be disarmed. Leave the UN to negotiate and demand that the Israelis allow the Hezbos the chance to rearm and dig in deeper. What a flippin waste of prime real estate.

I don’t know why the media calls him “conservative.” Blaming America and Israel is a liberal thing!

By all accounts, in his society, he is a conservative Robert. I believe it was 3 weeks ago that I posted where he wanted to purge university and the the press of anyone that was liberal…I am taking it that anyone that lives in ‘real time’ or sixteenth century and beyond, is a liberal in his eyes.
