If the US had spent more time taking care of politics in its back yard instead of trying to form a democracy in Iraq Chavez never would have gotten into power. Yes I'm advocating diplomacy, and politicas as opposed to Nuke everything. Fear only goes so far. Fairness and justice go a lot farther. If the IMF and world bank had been fair,if NAFTA had been fair, we would have had a lot more support in South America. The US has launched countless coups in South America.
