Teddy did worse than jsut leave her to die. He and his political machine had her corpse loaded on a plane out of the jurisdiction before an autopsy could be performed. That way he could claim that as far as he knew she had died in the crash versus drowning because he left her to save his own skin.

What nonsense! Sen. Kennedy was trying to save the U.S. from the possible consequences of an out of control “Star Wars” cowboy!!! Just like he battled valiantly to save that girl at Chappaquiddick, only abandoning CPR when he was exhausted and unable to continue!!! What if the Russians panicked after Reagan called them the Evil Empire, and launched?

Senator Kennedy was only using diplomacy to make sure that didn’t happen! He should receive the Nobel Peace prize and take his place in history alongside Pres. Carter as one of the greats!!!
