If a Republican did this, the career would be over, he’d be finished. The firestorm of media blitzkrieg would dominate the airwaves for a week. There would be calls for Republican leaders to resign. It would be played over and over and magnified until it became more of a threat to America than Al Qaeda. You wouldn’t be able to open a newspaper or turn on a tv or radio without hearing about the Republican Culture of racism.
