Will Bush Get Another Shot At Appointing A Supreme Court Justice?

Rumors have been swirling about the health of Justice Stevens. Allahpundit is poo-pooing it, but I am not so sure. In 04′, Justice Stevens said he would try to hold out for a replacement from a Democratic controlled Congress..he is 86, so we shall see!

    I should only hope so. Bush’s appointees have thus far been superb.

    If justice Stevens croaks before 2008, it will be the only descent thing he’s done since being on the court.
