   I saw this and it was Alan who tried to make it a racist remark. Mark was trying to make the point that killers get up each day, eat, drink, piss, go to work, watch tv, whatever and they seem perfectly normal to everyone even after they have committed a murder. Just look at the lives of some serial killers. Who would have ever thought Ted Bundy killed or John Wayne Gacy or Susan Smith for that matter. Perfectly normal seeming people.

   Alan inserted the KFC reference as being racist. For me the real question was why would Alan ASSUME this reference was racist? Would he have said that if Mark had said Burger King or Micky Dee’s?

   OJ Simpson is a killer that the politically correct jury acquitted. Bottom line and Mark is justified in being angry over this.

   I know OJ is a killer Bon Bon, but of all the people in the world to make a comment about eating chicken..it had to be Mark….here the public could hang OJ with his own words, and we have Furhman making a comment that can be misconstrued…:razz: Priceless

   Maybe but when I saw it the thought didn’t even cross my mind until Alan spoke up. Then I thought that it was a cheap shot and racist on Alans part. I realize Mark spoke truthfully at the trial and was villified because of it but that was no excuse in the overall to acquit O.J. and the trial was not about Mark’s personal feelings but O.J.’s guilt.

   I am considering watching this movie for the simple reason that I want to hear for myself what he has to say and to be better able to argue his guilt if necessary. I couldn’t believe Alan actually thought he was innocent and devoted a whole chapter in his book to the matter.

   That was my priceless moment

   You know I didn’t even realize he had written a book until last night. Next time I’m in the bookstore though I’m going to try to find it so I can thumb through it and get a sense of it.

   I used to think he was okay but I’ve been watching the last couple of months and he is just another nutcase. His arguments don’t make sense.

   hehehehehe…..thanks for asking. Yes, I’m doing well with it. It does seem to go slow at times though and I’m just dying for the chance to go downtown more often. AEI has some fantastic speakers come in and I may take spring off and head down to DC more often. I’m not going to quit school though…I’ve come too far to quit this dream and the way I see it the University benefit is well worth taking advantage of.

    I saw that interview last night too, and I had the same thoughts as BonBon did. I understood what Fuhrman was trying to characterize; the nonchalant lack of conscience of the psychopaths. It was Colmes (who by the way to me looks like a turtle) who tried to turn it into a racial comment. It seems to me Colmes is the racist for making such a connection in his petty, racist little Liberal turtle head mind. Until Colmes started with that, I had no thought or association about any racial connection at all with what Fuhrman said.

    Colmes is the racist. Typical…

    TURTLE….:lol: That’s good Robert. I have looked at him before thinking he looks like something but I just couldn’t place it!! And sometimes he gets this really funny look about him. Thanks for the laugh.

    Interestingly enough the more I listen the more I hear racism in actions and words that the liberals put forth. Everything from stealing Mike Steele’s credit report to Hillary talking about “the plantation and you know what I mean.” How patronizing is that?

    Obviously they just don’t get it. Racism is and should be a thing of the past. To be reminded of it is wrong and doesn’t pave the way to moving on as they say.

    Hell I eat chicken at KFC every so often. Where should OJ have gone to eat afterwards? Boston Market? Or perhaps Long John Silver’s? It doesn’t matter what kind of restaurant or what he had to eat, Fuhrman was simply trying to illustrate a point about the psychology of psychopaths.

    I’m the wrong person to complain to about racism. I grew up with black neighbors. I have a black family on one side and a Mexican family on the other. We do favors for each other all the time. My Spanish sucks, but Francisco and I seem to communicate fine anyway.
