If It Weren’t For Public Records, Alcee Would Be A-OK!
Poor guy came unglued last week and blamed his problems on the vast right-wing conspiracy. The problem is, if you refer to this source, Alcee found his impeachment hearings to be fair. Even the NYT’s found them to be fair. Imagine that! Byron Preston weighs in on Pelosi’s decision here, while Byron York recaps Conyer’s judgement against Hastings and highlights Article 16, which charged Hastings of using secret information from a wiretap to tip off a friend to steer clear of someone who was under investigation.
