It certainly looks that way!
At the Sobornaya Mosque, there are already some signs of the dangers ahead. One bearded young man, who refuses to give even his first name, anticipates a day when large chunks of Russia can be broken off into Islamic states. “It’s only a matter of time,” he says.
ALLAHPUNDIT brings up a terrific point: “That war with the Chechens is going to look mighty interesting ten years from now, huh? Not to mention the dynamics of a Russian president potentially having to deploy a majority-Muslim army to crack down on the country’s Muslim population.”
Very true considering:
Since 1989, Russia’s Muslim population has increased by 40 per cent to about 25 million. By 2015, Muslims could make up a majority of Russia’s conscript army and they could account for one-fifth of the country’s population by 2020.
With a steady percentage of right wing republicans and the ongoing growth of the American population by 2020 there may be even more religious-paranoid & discriminating idiots!
They would never match the ignorance level of an Islamic “radical” though:roll:
With the Litvinenko case (and his statement that the FSB was responsible for the bombings which were taken as a justification for the second Chechnya war http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Litvinenko), I would guess that muslims are still the smallest problem in today’s (or future’s) Russia!!!
But I guess no one in this forum will say sth. against some light fascist methods to fight “terrorism”…
3- Why would the Litvinenko case even rise to the level of disputing what is in the the post?
And look how close RUSSIA comes to the USA right there in ALASKA:eek:
