Taliban; “We Defeated The Republicans”
In a rare video message, Gulbuddin Hekmatyar, a renegade Afghan warlord allied with the Taliban, claimed that American troops will be forced out of Afghanistan like the Soviets before them.
The leader of the Hezb-e-Islami militant group also touted the Republican Party defeat in last month’s midterm elections as a victory for militants fighting in Afghanistan and Iraq.
“It seems that every bullet that mujahedeen had fired toward the Americans in Iraq and Afghanistan has turned into a vote against Bush,” Hekmatyar said in the undated video statement received by AP Television News in Pakistan.
“There is no doubt that is a great victory and success for Afghan and Iraqi mujahedeen,” he said. “I am convinced that the fate Soviet Union faced is awaiting America as well.”

You have to question why they would be so happy to have the Democrats in power. Could it be their utter incompetence on National Security Issues? Could it be the wonderful plans to retreat from Iraq with our tail tucked between our legs?
Or could it just be that they find Speaker Botox to be the hottest thing outside of a Burqa (aside from their sheep “Aisha“).

Who cares what the Taliban may or may not believe.
What we did was defeat as Democrats the intolerant tone of this country. The pendulum of history is finally swinging back to some semblance of autonomy.

3-What we did was defeat as Democrats the intolerant tone of this country. The pendulum of history is finally swinging back to some semblance of autonomy. I wouldn’t go that far yet..the left promised to pull out of Iraq, etc., and that is not looking like it will happen any time soon…

As for the intolerance B.S., The DEMS and Liberals are the intolerant lot. How else do you describe the ACLU suing any municipality that even permits a Christian symbol on the grounds? Or the Cross on the war memorial in San Diego? It took some near heroic measures to keep a 50 yr old war memorial from being torn down because of some of the wonderfully tolerant ACLU whiners suing the city of San Diego. Doesn’t tolerance mean being willing to live and let live versus the ACLU’s and atheists with an agenda’s scorched earth attempts to completely secularize this country? The phrase “separation of church and state” isn’t even in the Constitution. Look it up.
Intolerance? How much more intolerant can the rabid political correctness crowd be? Or the rabid gun control crowd?
Why is it that the liberals can so adamantly grasp a phrase from Thomas Jefferson about the “separation of church and state” while totally admonishing those who agree with his writings on the value of firearms training as a means to not only build one’s body, but mind as well? Liberals are not only idiots, their hipocrites are well.
I can say they are idiots because the Constitution says “Congress shall make no laws respecting the establishment of religion, nor restricting the free exercise thereof” and they are trying to sue the US Army to require Christian military officers serving at the Pentagon to remove any crucifixes they may wear with their uniforms (I would guess cross shaped tie tacks because everything else is more or less required to be UNIFORM) under the grounds that the practice is establishing Christianity as an official religion. In other words the ACLU crowd is suing not to allow others to practice their religion, but to “RESTRICT THE FREE EXERCISE THEREOF” by Christian officers. NOW THAT’S LIBERAL TOLERANCE FOR YOU.

Not so fast, FAO…while “conservative” is a fair label, they are still Democratic Party members and will vote for pro-choice judges with the rest of the the Dems…in the majority.
This election was a severe blow to the Right Wing, in terms of the judicial branch. Congress won’t let another Roberts or Alito get on the SCOTUS.
