When/Where Will The Attacks Happen?
“It will be a miracle if there isn’t a terror attack over the holidays in London,”
British intelligence and law enforcement officials have passed on a grim assessment to their U.S. counterparts, “It will be a miracle if there isn’t a terror attack over the holidays in London,” a senior American law enforcement official tells ABCNews.com.
British police have been quietly carrying out a series of key arrests as they continue to track at least six active “plots” tied to what they call “al Qaeda of England.”
Officials said they could not cite any specific date or target but said al Qaeda had planned previous operations during the Christmas holidays that had been disrupted:
Authorities say they are seeking at least 18 suspected suicide bombers:
British law enforcement and intelligence officials say the ongoing plots have been in the planning stages for at least three years.
ALLAHPUNDIT says:
U.S. officials who spoke to the Blotter say they’re getting intelligence reports that corroborate this story in Newsweek. Because Brits are normally granted temporary visas without having to apply in advance, any of them could enter the United States without a hitch unless they’re on a watch list. Newsweek actually has a photo of one of the “English brothers” inside the camp. How they managed that, I can’t possibly imagine.
The French are also worried, in part because Zawahiri apparently threatened them again in his latest tape. Remember how he announced that AQ had formed an alliance with an Algerian terrorist group? Turns out France has arrested 76 members of the group in connection with three separate plots ” in the last 18 months alone.

There is no doubt this is worrisome. I know there are some non believers still (i.e., the liberals here in the U.S.) who don’t believe terrorism is a threat and/or that it happens in such a small way as to be only a nuisance.
While I definitely disagree with that I also believe that we need to back law enforcement in bringing down these people any…way…we…can.
I believe Dennis Miller got it right when he said another 9/11 and these pacifists will be on board. Why does it have to take another 9/11?
So, do you think the New York Times will have a story about this?

I have only two things to say on this topic:
1. Thanks ABC for once again informing the terrorists that the police are hot on their tail.
2. The NYT wouldn’t report on this until someone blows up their office building. Until that time, any other attack will be meaningless to the NYT crowd. Why should an attack anywhere else matter to them? It’s not like the other people killed are journalists or anything. I wonder exactly how the worthless journalists and liberal professors were forced to actually go out into the workforce and produce something of real value rather than just writing books about how people who do are evil.
