1. Clinton didn’t allow anything. It wasn’t his call. And anyway he was harshly criticized for his leadership in the war in Kosovo (remember the right called it “wag the dog”) that he probably didn’t have the “political capital” to do another military rescue.

2. There weren’t an unusual number of terrorist attacked during the Clinton presidency! WTC attack I was the only one other than the Oklahoma City bombing, which was done by a right-wing hater. The USS Cole incident was an accident; as he stood up and salute Ayoob accidentally dropped a lit cigarette that fell into the hold of the boat he was on and ignited explosive vapors, causing the explosion. Of course the right-wing controlled MSM reported it as a terrorist attack. But at DU we know the truth!

3. OBL: There was no legal authority and no reason! OBL wasn’t even a firm suspect! You can’t just go around arresting people, especially foreigners, on foreign soil! There is a process: First charges are brought, then OBL is served with a subpoena. If he fails to appear within 30 days they issue a warrant. Next time he is seen at MacDonald’s in Washington D.C. we nab him! Simple as that! That’s how it works in the real world of bureaucracy and big gov’t! Don’t you get it? Guess not…
