I can answer those:

1. Clinton didn't allow anything. It wasn't his call. And anyway he was harshly criticized for his leadership in the war in Kosovo (remember the right called it "wag the dog") that he probably didn't have the "political capital" to do another military rescue.

2. There weren't an unusual number of terrorist attacked during the Clinton presidency! WTC attack I was the only one other than the Oklahoma City bombing, which was done by a right-wing hater. The USS Cole incident was an accident; as he stood up and salute Ayoob accidentally dropped a lit cigarette that fell into the hold of the boat he was on and ignited explosive vapors, causing the explosion. Of course the right-wing controlled MSM reported it as a terrorist attack. But at DU we know the truth!

3. OBL: There was no legal authority and no reason! OBL wasn't even a firm suspect! You can't just go around arresting people, especially foreigners, on foreign soil! There is a process: First charges are brought, then OBL is served with a subpoena. If he fails to appear within 30 days they issue a warrant. Next time he is seen at MacDonald's in Washington D.C. we nab him! Simple as that! That's how it works in the real world of bureaucracy and big gov't! Don't you get it? Guess not...

Well I've covered it, but perhaps Eben may still want to respond. No need really, but whatever.

Eben your response to me says it all. Yes, if you must believe Bush is a villian, then fine. I feel very sad for you.

But while we're on the subject please answer why on earth Mr. Clinton allowed over a million people in Rwanda to be slaughtered in just 3 months. Also do explain why we had so many terrorists attacks on U.S. interests in the 8 years of his presidency and why he didn't see fit to take custody of OBL when he had the chance. Twice.

I'll be looking forward to your explanations.

let's not kid ourselves into thinking that 900 people speak for this country:

900 is an excellent sample size, and in fact can be relied upon to survey the national opinion!

Now, they were standing in line in one place, but that was just done to make it quicker and easier to get get the poll completed. And it is true that the line was for free sandwiches and beverages. But there's absolutely no issue there; all Americans have to eat. And while the free food was being provided by the Democrat party, that is a simple coincidence. Rather you should applaud the DNC for their charity! Likewise, the Democrat voter registration table, set up right next to there the sandwiches are handed out, is of no consequence. Are you implying that the DNC doesn't have the right to sign up voters? Are you a reactionary neocon who wants to deny free speech to those who do not agree with you? Yes, that's it!

From the breakdown of the polls over the past year, there seems to be push polling..and, let's not kid ourselves into thinking that 900 people speak for this country...

#14 In response to Eben comment, I believe Bush is addressing those problems in spite of the constant villifying from the lefties of his actions. He, along with many others, have gone out of their way to address things in as diplomatic a way as possible.

How you can use "Bush" and 'diplomatic' in the same sentence is beyond me but .. Bush needs no vilification from anyone.

He's a villian purely by his own actions and by those of the individuals with whom he surrounds himself for advise. Seen his approval rating BonBon?

Them thar t'ain't all "lefties". :???:

Who is it that Bush has not addressed in the African Nations?

Here's a start.

Their followers ran for the hills once Mussolini and Hitler were out of power. Can anyone say "Argentina"?

Their followers. Followers of Saddam have made him a martyr.

No. It's apparently [acc. to most recent reports] elevated him to martyr status for the first time (can't be one until you're dead case you don't know) WATCH

How does one determine the degree to which a murdering tyrant is more heartless than the next?

Body count. Bush wins.

14- I am going to give credit where credit is due on this one..George Clooney was discussing this with Leno the other night and said that GWB is acting on the situations in Africa, but it is going to take more than the USA! The UN needs to step up and do something...I would like to see them cease the raping of the people that they are to be protecting!
