Mastermind Of Embassy Bombing May Be Dead
The US bombing in Somalia is believed to have killed Fazul Abdullah Muhammad, who planned the 1998 bombings of two U.S. embassies in East Africa. If true, this would be wonderful. This should have been dealt with years ago. I could care less if people question the timing, at least this POTUS does his job.
American air raids in southern Somalia may have killed the suspected Al Qaeda terrorist who planned the 1998 United States embassy bombings in east Africa, Somalia officials said today.
“I have received a report from the American side chronicling the targets and list of damage,” Abdirizak Hassan, the Somali president’s chief of staff, told The Associated Press. “One of the items they were claiming was that Fazul Abdullah Muhammad is dead.”
American officials have said that Mr. Muhammad, 32, planned the attacks on the American embassies in Kenya and Tanzania that killed 225 people.

Police at the Kenyan coastal border town of Kiunga on Monday arrested a wife of Mohammed, with her three children, according to an internal police report seen by the AP on Wednesday.
Who said it? “The Americans pursue Al Qaeda terrorists everywhere and (Monday’s raid) is really a part of that: [T]his was what should have been done, and it was the appropriate time to launch these attacks.”
A U.S. intelligence official tells the Daily Mail he thinks they got one of the three AQ capos they’re looking for, but doesn’t name which one.

I’m waiting now for the peacemongers to start criticizing Bush for this action. Oh I know where it will start. He attacked Somalia two days before his big speech on Iraq. From there it will be questioned on whether or not it was justified, and on and on. Just like Saddam’s execution.

We should have sent an emissary to the Somali Al Qaeda groups to peacefully discuss our differences. Of course it wouldn’t be easy but as soon as agreement is reached it would serve as a model for the rest of the world! Clearly the wisdom of what I posted is beyond your limited understanding! Our enemies have already stated that is we accept Islam they will end their aggression. So what’s wrong with that? At least we are still alive! And the cycle of violence will be broken forever.
Most of us don’t believe in any religion anyway, so it doesn’t matter what brand or stamp or name you call it. It just means another version. So what?
