  4. This stupid, mentally-defective State Assemblyidiot, wants to outlaw spanking as a means of disciplining children in Kalifornia. She’s a huge Liberal, which of course explains on the face of it her idiocy and her fascistic desire to impose her personal views on others by making them law.

What she is proposing is absurd, wrong, unAmerican, and unconstituitonal. She should be prosecuted for attempting to violate the Constitution she swore to defend!

I would replace her bill with another: make being an idiot illegal. It makes more sense than her bill…

  23. Robert, there is a much more insidious part to that anti-spanking bill that most people don’t realize. ANYONE striking their child in California (think tourist slapping a toddler’s hand at Disneyland) could be arrested and charged with a crime that, should they be convicted or cop a plea to, would make it illegal for them to own or purchase a firearm anywhere in the US. While the offense would be a misdemeanor, the fact that it would be considered a domestic violence conviction, it would hold the same weight as a felony. Take a look at ATF form 4473 at any gun dealer and one of the prohibiting questions is “have you ever been convicted of a misdemeanor domestic violence offense?” It would also make anyone who purchased a firearm for them a felon for making a straw purchase. My recommendation for anyone with children who also owns firearms would be to schedule all future vacations outside of California. I would also recommend that everyone contact the California Dept of Tourism and advise them as to why they WON’T be vacationing in California.
