I just heard Prof. Johnathan Ball interviewed on the Coast-to-Coast AM radio show (by George Noory). He discussed, among other things, how there is tremendous pressure in the scientific community to agree with IPCC and others who are promoting the human-caused GW hypothesis. Many scientists are reluctantly going along out of pure fear of loss of funding, jobs, etc. Gosh, not the solid consensus we’ve been hearing about, is it?

I am saying it here as clearly as it can be said: It is no more than a hypothesis that the human contribution to GW is significant. The reality that we are seeing this snowball of promotion, mainly by politicians and those who have vested interests, makes it the largest FRAUD ever perpetrated.

Don’t be a sucker. Do NOT join the Church of Global Warming.

And I always thought, the largest fraud ever perpetrated was to accuse a foreign country of having WMDs as a justification to attack it- with the loss of a 5-digit number of people and a 3-digit billion dollar costs…

But a little distraction with the GW (the environmental problem) topic can’t be too bad for GW (the other problem)…

2, You piece of libing crap!!!! The whole freaking world, including your government, thought Hussein had WMD and Hussein did nothing to disprove that hypothesis. That wasn’t the only reason we took that despot out, but cretins like you can only fasten on one small thought.

Now, hypocrite, have you been protesting your government and companies that supplied Hussein with bomb proof bunkers, munitions, and other war supplies? I severely doubt it since you don’t criticize Wahabists on their websites. You only go where people won’y hurt you for being a A**HOLE on their site.

My (German) government didn’t ever believe this and obviously the majority of the UN member countries didn’t believe this either. I’m not sure… I think, even Colin Powell later admitted that he didn’t feel well about his presentation of suspicious facilities satellite pictures that he gave at the UN…

“Now, hypocrite, have you been protesting your government and companies that supplied Hussein with bomb proof bunkers, munitions, and other war supplies?”

Now, hypocrite, have you been protesting when Saddam used chemical WMDs against Iran? And to answer the potential suspicion: No, I never personally sent special concrete nor guns to Iraq…

I don’t go on muslim websites, because other than you it is only a radical minority that is warmongering there, but for a large majority of your people it took five painful years to realize, how idiotic their filthy little war is!!

Matthias, you guys always fall back on the BS propoganda of the current state of affairs in Iraq. Our current Pesident is a “Liar” and a “Warmonger”. You’d say that “We shouldn’t even BE in Iraq! Saddam should still be in power! Why can’t you “neo-con’s wake up and see that the administration is corrupt and Bush must be impeached for crimes against the Constitution!”

If you could now indulge me and rotate your clock back 1990-91. THEN the mantra was… “Bush is a WIMP!!! Why did he not finish the job in Iraq?! We were only miles from Bagdad and could’ve taken Saddam out! He’s a WIMP! He turned our forces back before the job was finished!!! Saddam would be dead right now and Iraq would be a eutopia if Bush had the testicular fortitude to complete the mission! Bush is a WIMP!!!” (and a “Liar”… remember “No new taxes?” and how the lovers of high taxes raked him over the coals on that?)

To help refresh your memory… The USA was part of a multi-lateral response to Saddam’s invasion of Kuwait (OMG… big oil!) under the guidelines of your esteemed United Nations. The UN directive was not to kill Saddam, but repel his forces, secure Kuwait, and demand Saddam’s unequivocal surrender. Although the guidelines were strictly adhered to by Bush, The left in this country couldn’t hold their collective tongues and persecute him for “not finishing the job”.

The WMD issue… please, God, save me from this tired rhetoric. There is no doubt that Saddam not only had them, but USED THEM!!! Why is this “inconvenient truth” left out of your minds? Because it’s convenient for you to do so?

Facts, to you people, seem to have absolutely NO relevance. You seem to have no regard for them. You jump on the latest Democrat talking points without giving them any serious thought.

The Global Warming issue, in my opinion, is just the latest in a loooong line of “crisis politics” the Socialists are perpetrating on the American people. (all forest fires are caused by cigarette smokers; second hand smoke kills babies; Global Cooling [from the 70's]; Recycle! We’re running out of trees!; Global starvation; Global overpopulation; Famine, floods and pestilence.. on and on you guys rant)

You people can’t be trusted to look at evidence objectively, why should we believe you in a Global Warming debate now?

Just passing on another blow to AKD and Mattias.

Bad Research, Worse Reporting on Global Warming

In trying to prove that the Bush administration is throttling research into global warming, the Union of Concerned Scientists rolled out some breathtakingly bad science.

The group unveiled a supposedly scientific survey of more than 1,600 federal climate scientists as evidence that the administration was engaged in “wide-ranging political interference in research related to global warming.”

“The new evidence shows that political interference in climate science is no longer a series of isolated incidents but a system-wide epidemic,” Dr. Francesca Grifo, Director of the UCS Scientific Integrity Program, said in a press release. “Tailoring scientific fact for political purposes has become a problem across many federal science agencies.”
Grifo obviously doesn’t’ appreciate the irony when he trots out a poll that is so flawed that it is manifest evidence of exaggeration, incompetence or dishonesty on his group’s part.

Thank you Peejz & PCD, for giving me enlightenment on my country’s political statements and attitudes, especially the one on “wiping Israel off the map” (Heh?!)

9- “Bush is a WIMP!!! Why did he not finish the job in Iraq?! We were only miles from Bagdad and could’ve taken Saddam out! He’s a WIMP! He turned our forces back before the job was finished!!!”

Tracy, you forgot to add that the US government at that time encouraged the non-sunnite people in Iraq to uprise against Saddam, which resulted (due to the lack of external support) to the death of thousands being murdered by Saddam’s troops! But we’ve seen such coward & stupid interference into internal politics by the US already in Vietname- so it didn’t really surpise us!

“There is no doubt that Saddam not only had them, but USED THEM!!!”

I know, in the war against Iran- and the US public gave a shit about it!

“The Global Warming issue, in my opinion, is just the latest in a loooong line of “crisis politics”the Socialists are perpetrating on the American people. …
You people can’t be trusted to look at evidence objectively, why should we believe you in a Global Warming debate now?”

What I don’t understand is, why you Americans make this global warming debate an issue of being personally attacked?! The world champion title for CO2 production is about to go to China within the next years and my own country has a serious problem to be compliant with the standards dictated by the EU… So why do you bother? This is not such a “US sucks”-thing like the Iraq-war. It’s peanuts compared to that!
Global Warming is no invention by Al Gore to get back into business again nor a socialist campaign to tease conservatives- it is the observation of a global threat against which we all can/must do something! If you see something in your house burning or dirty or out-of-order- won’t you try to fix it?! Or will you start a political debate whether that might be a liberal deception…

I understand that we come from different cultures with entirely different backgrounds. I grew up in a country that is almost completely different from the one you see on CNN today. If I were to sum the differences between then and now? “The Socialists are winning. The slow, mold-like erosion of our Constitution continues.”

You assert that we take it personally when do-gooders just want to do good. Of course we do!!! We PAY for their good deeds in confiscatory taxation and loss of Freedoms. Are you saying that if we disagree with the premise of anthropogenic global warming then we are actually advocating for the destruction of the planet? I reject that. Are you aware that water vapor, not CO2, is the main “green house gas” in our atmosphere? That CO2 has a “breaking point”, an atmospheric saturation point so to speak, at which it becomes invisible to solar radiation passing BOTH into and away from the planet? water vapor does not suffer this limitation. (Have you ever noticed that cloudless, ergo water vapor-less, winter nights with no wind are colder than cloudy, ergo water vapor laden, winter windless nights? Clouds, ergo water vapor, cause a localized “warming” effect caused by excess water vapor blanketing the area. Do you hear anyone crying out “Local Warming!!!? Should we then outlaw Hydrogen powered cars because they exhaust water vapor?

The United States does more in all areas of conservation than any nation on the planet. We do this without Kyoto. We don’t NEED to sign on to it. We are a capitalist nation. We are pragmatic and sensitive to market demands while being responsible to the best of our ability to the concerns of our Planet. After all, we live here too. Why would we desire to destroy the very thing that supports the strongest Economy and Nation on the planet?

The whole notion of this argument is based on a house of cards. Junk science disguised in good intentions and caring. Those who advocate for this THEORY are simply wanting to tap into American dollars once again. Siphoning away our freedoms, appling more taxation and garnering profits at our expense.

I understand that you have no idea of the Freedoms of which I speak. To live in such a Nation is completely alien to you. Take my word for it, it was nice. I don’t want it to happen but, I see us joining you in the not-to-distant future. I don’t want to live in Germany, or any other Nation for that matter, but if the promoters of this fraud of GW win here in America, it won’t take long.

    The Global Warming issue, in my opinion, is just the latest in a loooong line of “crisis politics”the Socialists are perpetrating on the American people. …second hand smoke kills babies;

Thanks for reminding me about another massive fraud perpertrated by an alliance of special-interest groups, Socialists who love to control other poeple’s lives, and Liberals: The second-hand smoke fraud. I remember well the evolution of that initiative: they started out by talking about how bad secind hand smoke must be, and how bad it must be for you. There was a big study done that unfortunately did not bear out what the promoters wanted, so they just reowrked the data until they twisted it into supporting their position. Armed with that “science”, they boldy began to assert that secondhand smoke kills! Then they began putting numbers on it; secondhand smoke kills 52,000 people in the U.S. every year!

Of course they never mention that a World Health Organization comprehensive study found no such link at all. In fact they suppressed that article. And just like they are doing with the human-caused Global Warming fraud, they twist, lie, and misrepresent while suppressing anything that does not agree or join their consensus.

Of course tobacco smoke is filled with bad chemicals, but anyone who has done any scientific analytical work, or studied college chemistry should know that by the time the smoke is diluted many times in air the concentrations are so low as to be negligible in 99% of the cases. It’s not good for you, but not bad enough to be a crisis. Annoying in public yes. KILLING people, no.

They they just started blathering it endlessly (SH smoke kills 52,000 people every year) until it became accepted by default and a part of the idiot culture.

The exact same thing is happening with this GW fraud. And all of the people that can’t see it, that can’t think for themselves and see how they are being suckered, I really pity them because they are poor dumb lemmings in the truest sense. When you run into a GW zealot, you are looking at a poor fool who has apparently lost the ability to think for themselves, has been pumped full of propaganda, is making money from it, or is just another mentally ill Liberal.

  26. Tracy
    February 8, 2007 - 12:46 AM on February 8th, 2007

    Robert, dude… I like you.

Read all about the fraud of “second hand smoke” here.

Eventually we’ll get the real story of this climate change we undergo. I’m not denying that it’s a bit warmer… fine! It’s a bit warmer. Is that what you want to hear? The only thing I have a problem with is that your pro-anthropogenic global warming “facts” stink. So you guys assume that we should (Governments should) regulate our industries based on nothing but conjecture and concensuus.. THATS what it’s all about. What’s more is that you believe we should roll over and allow it to happen!

Here’s a question for any of you who are over 40 years old. Remember when you were young, 10 to 20 years old? What did the sun look like way back then? The answer? Yellow. Today? When you look at the sky you see a “whitish” Sun in the sky. Why? Anybody who knows anything about basic thermography, knows that white is hotter than yellow. Ergo, Solar warming of not only Earth, but Mars as well. (yes, Martian Icecaps are deminishing in size)

The Earth (the rock upon which we live) is totally subject to the environment in which it lives…. SPACE! There are other dynamic effects to consider as well… “AIR” (which is a conglomeration of gasses, the majority of which is H2O) behaves as a fluid that wraps and surrounds our planet.Any fluid in motion has a “drag” effect. Thereby speeding and slowing the wobble effect of our poles depending on the thermal effects placed upon it. Then add the Oceans and Seas. If this amount of weight doesn’t resonate with you, add the pull and tug of our moon (which doesn’t have a name like “chandra” it’s just… moon.) The moon causes our tides to ebb and flow… why would it not cause an alteration in our climate if it were to apogee and perigee in its’ OWN cycle.

Why is it our fault that the universe has crumbled? Greedy Americans. Yeah, that’s it.

28- “Your German cars have to ADD ANTI-POLLUTION DEVICES IN ORDER TO BE ALLOWED INTO THIS COUNTRY!”

So to stick to the simple thinking-patterns of you simple people: Does this make your country more socialist than mine? I mean, it is our carbuilder’s freedom to build as dirty cars as they want and it doesn’t do any harm anyway:mrgreen:

30, thanks for confirming you are a complete idiot. You tell the US to stop polluting, but it is Germany that is a greater polluter.

I remember EAST Germany as being one of the dirtiest, most polluted places in Europe. Did you clean up or are you still polluting, hypocrite.

If there is global warming I think everyone is responsible for it.. (countries).. how can we be cutting down so many trees and putting out so many emissions and hot air from cars, monitors, etc.. without it somehow imbalancing things. Or, perhaps the earth balances itself out.
