‘Why I Hate America’? This Is Who John Edwards Is Afraid to alienate!

‘Why I Hate America’: That’s the title of a Daily Kos post by “coolobserver”:
Among many reasons, I hate America for the near-extermination and subsequent oppression of its indigenous population. I hate it for its role in the African slave trade and for dropping atomic bombs on civilians. I hate its control of institutions like the United Nations, World Bank, International Monetary Fund, and World Trade Organization. I hate it for propping up brutal dictators like Suharto, Pinochet, Duvalier, Hussein, Marcos, and the Shah of Iran. I hate America for its unconditional support for Israel. I hate its bogus two-party system, its one-size-fits-all culture, and its income gap. I could go on for pages but I’ll sum up with this: I hate America for being a hypocritical white supremacist capitalist patriarchy.
He also refers to people who are offended by these views as “so-called patriots.” It’s almost enough to make you question his patriotism.
A reader from Hot Air writes a few good comments on the subject:
Does the guy not even see the hypocrisy in his own statements? I mean he rants about how America was stolen (or something like that) and then says we (flag-wavers) forget about the social movements and the people who “fought” to bring us those freedoms. Ummm:would those be the people who didn’t seek appeasement with the British Crown? Would those be the people who fought the British for control of America? Would those be the people who “stole” America? Mmmm:whatever! Yet again – a liberal who can’t see the hypocrisy of his own words.

Here’s the other statement I love. He freely admits he, nor his ilk, has contributed anything worthwhile to society but he’ll gladly leech off of it and criticize it. He might as well say, “We did nothing to sacrifice for this good-for-nothing country but I’ll gladly take part in its consumer oriented, capitalistic, free enterprise successes.”
I don’t mind him “exercising” his freedoms. But he (like many liberals) belittle those of us who exalt in America’s many more successes vs. its failures.
Right after he wrote this he logged off his laptop in his living room, turned off his LCD flatscreen, grabbed his cellphone and went outside and jumped in his gas-guzzling, CO2 emitting sportscar and sped off to the local Starbucks. I guess being a socialist in America one can only be expected to sacrifice so much till it hurts.

Well, well. I see some desperate, degenerate little asswipe Leftist has posted (Post #2) under my screenname. It seems the Left has lost so bady in this forum on every position, every topic, that the only tactic they have remaining is such antics.

Maybe it really is some Leftist who is sincerely so utterly deranged, so incredibly mentally ill that he thinks somehow he is creative and clever.

He’s coming of course from the Leftist orientation, where strict adherence to the tenets of political correctness is an absolute must. Nonvariance from the Democrite talking points is also de facto absolute. And if one is a “minority”, then staying on the virtual plantation is also an absolute. Now we see the Church of Global Warming emerging as yet another area in which the (leftist) members are held obedient to strict authority.
So it is quite natural that when the Leftist is trying to be humorous, entertaining, creative he draws on what he knows, what is natural for him. Now I fully understand his orientation, his form of dementia.

Let’s face it, some american’s are OK, however, the ones that are OK are in a minority, & these are also the ones that probably don’t use the internet, or if they do, are not obsessed with having their mark written all over it.
However, of the american’s I’ve ever come across, these are usually present somewhere on the web, which means they have taken the time to register somewhere, & submit their details.
Once done they then go on to write offensive, moronic drivel that means nothing to anyone but themselves.. Obsessed with cussing other people’s mother’s, sexual innuendo & a very basic grasp of the English Language that makes it hard for me to understand how they manage to function on a daily basis without having to point at things they want, rather than conversing.
I find it hard to find any warmth in my heart for american’s after having come across so many instances of their stupidity online that I, whilst not motivated by any religious means, can only agree with anyone who hates america.
Unfortunately, the americans have brought this all upon themselves & I am in agreement with anyone who follows the rule “you reap what you sow” !!
(By the way, I am a white British male, I am not religious & I have deliberately not capitalised the word america, because they do not deserve it.)
