What I am saying is that the Democrats kept running on a defeatist attitude. Kept harping on the Vietnam war...and did nothing to try and actually protect the country. Well, we don't live in an ideal world where we can't have a military, or where people drink a Coke and teach the world to sing in perfect harmony. Many people didn't agree with the war, but they felt the Democrats could have handled things differently. Not at all. What I am saying is that the Democrats kept running on a defeatist attitude.
