A Fredericksburg man was arrested Saturday on charges he assaulted three strangers at their home during a dispute over politics, police said. According to a Fredericksburg police report, the suspect went to a home in the 900 block of Marye Street about 5:30 p.m. after finding one of the resident’s name on a Republican Web site.
The resident and his two roommates engaged in a discussion with the suspect, though none of them had ever met or had contact with him before. The argument got heated and the suspect learned that the young residents had not enlisted in the military and “put their all” behind the Republican-led war effort in Iraq, police spokeswoman Natatia Bledsoe said.
The suspect refused to leave the home after repeatedly being asked to do so, police said. The three roommates were hit multiple times each as they attempted to get the suspect out of the door, authorities said. The suspect continued to be aggressive and disorderly even after a city police officer arrived, the report states. Andrew Stone, 23, was charged with three counts of assault and battery. A magistrate released Stone on his own recognizance and he was ordered to have no further contact with the victims.
It was not clear in the report what political agenda Stone was supporting.

What poor reporting. You’d think the reporter would do more than copy off a police report.
Note the report didn’t state what the unhinged lib was asked to do like go to Iran and be a human shield.

That would be a POOR choice for someone to try on me. I normally exercise my 2nd amendment right and it would end up with someone getting really hurt. Not that I would allow some unknown liberal in my house anyway. They are entirely too prone to stealing for my taste. Of course they call it wealth redistribution, but since I earned it and they’re taking it, I still call it stealing.

I think we can all guess. Another example of the mental illness that is Liberalism becoming so acute, so severe as to lead to an incident of violence, which they so fervently claim to oppose.

AKD stop getting your statistics from the Brady bunch or whatever name they’ve given Handgun Control Inc. these days. You are obviously too inclined to believe propaganda than to learn the truth. Try reading something other than a gun control pamphlet. EVERY empirical study shows that areas with more lawfully owned guns have lower violent crime rates. It’s really quite simple, criminals prefer unarmed victims. Read “More Guns, Less Crime” by Lott for information that has been proven to be correct. That’s proven as in based on actual data not hearsay or conjecture. Of course, in the minds of the liberal, the seriousness of the charge outweighs the actual facts of the case. Likewise, intentions are more important than outcome.
When the Chicago suburb of Morton Grove banned the private ownership of firearms in the home in the late 70s, the Atlanta suburb of Kennesaw adopted a law requiring that all home owners own a firearm. Of course unlike the Morton Grove ban wherein everyone was FORCED store their weapons in lockers at the town’s pistol range, Kennesaw homeowners could opt out of the requirement by simply signing an affidavit saying that they didn’t want a gun and they’d be exempted. Violent crime in Morton Grove skyrocketed, while violent crime in Kennesaw fell to record lows. AND HAS STAYED THERE. BTW Morton Grove is frequently lauded for their ordinance while Kennesaw is frequently denounced for theirs. Where would you rather live? Good intentions, or outstanding results?
Which developed country has the LOWEST violent crime rate in the world? Would you believe a country with 3 official languages (hence NOT a homogeneous population)? SWITZERLAND. All adult males are required to serve 2 years in the military for training purposes and then maintain a selective fire assault rifle, and high capacity handgun with basic combat loads for each in their homes until reaching their mid 40s. They also are required to qualify with them annually and state sponsored shooting competitions have stages for competitors as young as 5. 1993 was the last year that I saw the data for, but they had a total of 8 murders in the entire country and those were committed by foreigners who had obtained their firearms illegally to begin with.
Why is it okay that combining Philadelphia and Washington DC ( both of which have very restrictive handgun possession laws) murder rates, more Americans die there than in Iraq annually, but the war is what is being protested rather than the street crime in the major US cities? Isn’t it rather sad that Soldiers dying in a war draws more outrage than a senior citizen being gunned down or beaten to death for her Social Security check?

Remember? AKD’s own opinion is what the consensus of experts tell him to believe. The experts whose consensus he has chosen to adopt happen to be on the side of gun control, therefore that is what he goes with. Never mind other information, facts, reality.

Peejz, Robert, Thank you for your support. Funny how when real data is introduced, liberals run for the tall grass.
As for a liberal getting within contact range and attacking me in my home, my shooting him would be the least of his worries. He would probably prefer that to all of the other things I have here. I am a medieval reenactor after all, complete with a somewhat large collection of swords, battle axes, maces, etc etc etc.
At contact range a knife inserted into either the front of the pelvis at the top of the leg or into an armpit will stop a fight faster than a bullet virtually anywhere but into the brain. The blood loss from severing the arteries in those locations causes a precipitous drop in blood pressure resulting in VERY rapid loss of consciousness. There are also large nerve bundles in those areas that cause a serious shock to the central nervous system when hit.
BTW can you imagine the look on the police officer’s face when he walked in and found the intruder pinned to the wall with a pike?
