When I look at the second “funny” picture, I know that some of you obviously don’t understand the term “human rights”…

    are terrorists human?

If you ask me, terrorists are less than that. They are the lowest on the food chain.

2- Are people who start a war in which 50,000 civilians die human?
But I guess “Shock and Awe” is the republican english translation for “Kid Gloves, Charm Device & Feather”…

2- That word “terrorist” gets tossed around very cavalierly by the those who support gitmo, torture and the Iraq war. Problem is, many of those swept up in the net and flown to Gitmo weren’t terrorists. Even if you look at Iraq, only a tiny percentage of the lives lost were those of terrorists.

Thankfully, the word ‘terror’, and it’s derivatives, is losing it’s punch with the American public.

Tofu, who’s word are you taking? Must be the terrorists’. I think Peejz put a link up about the recidivism rate of terrorists released from Gitmo being caught again in Iraq committing terrorism. If I remember right the rate rivals released child molesters repeating their crimes.

Tofu, when you support terrorists’ “rights” and freedom for terrorists to attack America, there need be no better evidence that you hate Americal

“caught again in Iraq committing terrorism

I’d like to see that article. The stuff going on in Iraq isn’t terrorism for the most part. It’s waging warfare against an foreign occupying and/or sectarian violence/civil war.

Blowing up a US military Humvee or fighting against the US in Iraq is not terrorism. It’s warfare.

    “you hate America”

Spare me this intellectually brain-dead bumper-sticker slogan. If you are willing to discuss, then discuss; but tossing out disposable insults like this lends nothing to the debate.

7, that is an accurate depiction of you and many of the Kos led Left.

6, Maybe Peejz will repost. It was her find and post.

Again, your blame America first mentality betrays your traitroous heart. You can’t make your feeble mind up whether the war is over, still on, an occupation, or what. The only thing comming from you is America bad, Islamoffascists goog.

6- “Blowing up a US military Humvee or fighting against the US in Iraq is not terrorism. It’s warfare.”

Terrorism is a kind of asymmetric warfare, but for re-election purposes the term “Terrorism” is more smashing…

Just think of “War against Asymmetric Warfare“… no… nobody would buy that. “War against Terror” sounds like superheroes, colorful Times Square parades and Iwo-Jima-Flags…

8- “that is an accurate depiction of you and many of the Kos led Left.”

Again, I’ll say when you toss out this insult, you lend nothing to the debate. Further, you expose that you have nothing else to offer, which doesn’t give your position much weight. Markos doesn’t speak for me and I am not “led” by him.

“Again, your blame America first mentality betrays your traitroous heart. You can’t make your feeble mind up whether the war is over, still on, an occupation, or what. The only thing comming from you is America bad, Islamoffascists good.”

I said “Islamofascists good”? I don’t think so. Gitmo? Bad. Iraq invasion? Bad. Islamofascists? Bad. Writ of habeas corpus? Good.

Anyway, so now I “hate America” and I have a “traitorous heart”. I await your next empty inslut.

6- TT, I’ll dig through the archives again..My mistake as it was a link I should have added. With the way people talk, you would think you are correct, but the reality was far from that. The prisoners in GITMO are not just picked up from the field and sent. They are combatants of extreme interest.

    Tofu,

You are lucky you aren’t saying that to my face. You’d get substance alright. Just because America isn’t your hedonistic, homosexual paradise doesn’t make us wrong.

You are too busy trying to blur definitions that you are confused to warfare, terrorism, and patriotism.

So now you’ve fallen even further and have resorted to using schoolboy bully taunts.

I know it’s early, but perhaps you should have an asprin and a drink to take the edge off your anger. I don’t want you to have an aneurysm or something. I couldn’t live with that on my conscious.

Enemy combatants, legal or otherwise, are not now, nor have they EVER been, entitled to writ of habeus corpus. Any combatant failing to abide by the terms of the Geneva Conventions are considered illegal combatants and have the same rights as spies which is a military tribunal to determine status as to whether a legal or illegal combatant and if found to be an illegal combatant a choice of firing squad or gallows, with or without hood or blindfold. We are entirely within our rights under the Geneva conventions to EXECUTE any illegal combatant found on the battlefield. Seeing as they do not appreciate our treatment to culturally sensitive meals, prayer rugs, or Korans untouched by infidel hands, perhaps we should give them the same treatment that they give our legal, uniformed combatants.
