Halliburton to move its head office to Dubai..Where Is The Story?
This sounds like a sound business decision, so what am I missing?

The decision comes amid concern about Wall Street’s declining share in global capital markets activity and the growth of other financial centres to rival New York. Chuck Prince, chief executive of Citigroup, recently forecast continued “diffusion away from New York” towards centres such as London and Dubai.
Goldman Sachs, which generates almost half its revenues outside the Americas, has just moved its chief administrative officer to London, reflecting the growth of its overseas operations.
Funny, I don’t remember the hoopla surrounding Golman Sachs! Haliburton will still be a U.S. company, bound by the same tax laws. Hardly the tax dodge it is being portrayed as!
