Toasted,
Man, you are a Moonbat, aren't you?! If you are calling the Vets 'pro-death', then the 'pro-death' people made life easy for you sorry, lazy chickenshit ass. Of course, you want to live under Chinese or North Korean rule where you would would be tortured for your stupid dumbass mentality! Cheez! What a gutter rat! By the way, you got your hat on backwards. The Park Service estimated 30,000+ for the Americans and a little more than 5000 for the anti-war scum. Where was Hanoi Jane...HUH??!! She momentarily grabed a Brain cell floating by and did a NO-SHOW because she saw a disaster in the making of numnuts like you see in a mirrow.

and TT, it looks like the source of the story changed his tune:

In a Defense Appropriations Subcommittee, Army Chief of Staff Gen. Peter J. Schoomaker said he does not "know of a commander that would want to take somebody with them in their unit that wasn't capable of doing the full job. To me, if that is going on, it is wrong."

Jenkins, however, revised his story during a Wednesday episode of MSNBC's "Hardball," and said he has not been ordered to Iraq as was reported. Salon reporter Mark Benjamin said some of the 10 injured soldiers he interviewed have already deployed.

>>Perhaps these pro-war mavericks would be willing to step up to the plate so our injured could have time to heal?

Which ones are the pro death demonstrators?

The democrats love to talk about history, let's look at some history.

How many people died when the US pulled it's troops out of Vietnam? Roughly a half a million in Vietnam and around 1.5 million in Cambodia.

How many people died in Lebanon when the US pulled out it's troops? It broke out into an even bloodier civil war that lasted until 1990 killing thousands per year.

How many people died when we pulled our troops out of Somalia? Somalia is still fighting a civil war where thousands die every year and the weak UN government, until recently was impotent and relegated to control of one small town.

How about Iraq? After the first Gulf war when we pulled our troops out of southern Iraq Hussein slaughtered the Kurd and Shiite minorities, then drained the swamps in the south in an attempt to forever destroy their way of life.

The precedent is clear, every time the US has pulled it's troops out too early mass slaughter and suffering have followed. Pulling our troops out is not going to make things better for anyone. People who can't bear to see blood in Iraq now will be apalled by the torrent that would result if we left too soon.

Awesome. What was it this time? 20:1 pro-peace:pro-death demonstrators? If those pro-war demonstrators are so gung-ho, you know we have injured troops who are being sent back to Iraq unfit for duty. Perhaps these pro-war mavericks would be willing to step up to the plate so our injured could have time to heal?
