Considering Joy’s age, how the hell can she say that war is only defined by the amount of sacrifice we have to make here? She’s never lived through one where those demands were in effect. By her standards, Korea, Vietnam and Desert Storm weren’t wars either. I’d like to see her justify her position to the veterans who fought there. Ideally, when the military is doing its job properly, the impact on those of us here should be minimal. It’s only when they haven’t been properly supplied and stockpiles maintained that we have to ration here. BTW the price of ammo has been skyrocketing these last few months. Some of it has more than doubled in cost.
