Was She Covert?

By: Pam On: Mar/22/07 - 7 Comments

Great article:

Waxman and Democratic colleagues did not ask these pertinent questions: Had not Plame been outed years ago by a Soviet agent? Was she not on an administrative, not operational, track at Langley? How could she be covert if, in public view, she drove to work each day at Langley? What about comments to me by then CIA spokesman Bill Harlow that Plame never would be given another foreign assignment? What about testimony to the FBI that her CIA employment was common knowledge in Washington?

Instead of posing such questions, Waxman said flatly that Plame was covert and cited Hayden as proof. Hayden’s endorsement of Waxman’s statement astounded Republicans whose queries about her had been rebuffed by the agency. That confirmed Republican suspicions that Hayden is too close to Democrats.

Almost all of the pigs inside government and the families work for the enemies of freedom. only a handfull of Americans who get whats happening are fighting for freedom and the real American way. if you think that the reds are good guys go live under the rats, if you think that mexico is a great place to live become a Mexican/south americans and live under the rule of the drug dealers and evil doer.

Now this topic is a case where it is quite natural to post hyperbolic and extreme statements opinions and characterizations. And that’s because this whole Plamegate affair is an absurdity, stupid, circus sideshow, contrived out of and for purely political purposes.
It belongs in the Nero fiddling while Rome burns category. Idiotic, a waste of time and attention, a phony distraction made up to serve political purposes.
The truth, if it ever mattered in this case, has long since been lost and forgotten.
There’s enough about GWB and what his Administration has done/not done that is real and meaningful (like failure to protect our borders/illegal immigration, fiscal irresponsibility to name two) to criticize, yet the Democrites have to manufacture these nonsensical pseudo-scandals. They just can’t help themselves.
And the real issues get lost in the distractions.

This is absolutely correct. It’s tit for tat. Well, we investigated Clinton so they have to endlessly investigate Bush. That’s the excuse I hear and THIS is the problem with politics. Frankly if I could fire every one of them and replace them with people who are honest and willing to work FOR America I would do so. It seems they just don’t learn.

Wouldn’t it be nice if the dems would look at the definition established by the CIA on what a ‘covert’ agent actually means.

Ditto for the firing of the da’s. Foolish, foolish behavior.

Happy Friday to you too Robert. I come here for ammunition against the liberal populace. The arguments from the libs on here are what I face in person so seeing how you all make your points matters to me. I learn alot and while I don’t always agree with Republicans I know in my heart I could NEVER be a liberal.

Hope you have a great weekend!

I heard a perfectly good reason why at least a couple of the US Attornies were canned. Since when is it US policy to require that a criminal be caught a minimum of 6 times while in the commission of a crime before being prosecuted? That is the policy of the US attorney in Texas in regards to Illegal Aliens. The same types of policies are in effect in New Mexico, California and Arizona US attorney offices. Could that be the reason why those states are overrun with illegal aliens and that Arizona, Nevada and New Mexico are rated as the 3 most dangerous states to live in according to a recent study? Of course, I will reference that study only with great skepticism considering that it deems AZ more dangerous than Michigan and Pennsylvania while murders are far more rampant in Detroit, NYC, DC, Philadelphia or Baltimore than they are here. Ours are only as high as they are BECAUSE of the number of illegal aliens involved in other illegal activity in this state. The Primary cause of highway shootouts and kidnappings in Arizona is illegal alien smugglers competing for human cargo. Many of our Amber Alerts involve Adult (20yr old+) Mexican nationals trying to kidnap a teenage (often 13 – 15 yr old) females to take back to Mexico. Frequently at gunpoint.
