Shuster says in a press release, “This is a big victory for all Americans. No American should ever be sued because they tried to stop a terrorist act. No American should be forced to second guess a decision to alert authorities that could save the lives of others. Unfortunately, the recent lawsuit filed by the Council of American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) seeks to do just that.”

All 121 Nos were from the Democrats
Yet another new low for the Democrite party in the annals of shame. And some of you out there still say the Republicans and Democrites are the same, just as bad, there’s no difference, etc?
The Democrite Party, after their official Senate vote yesterday to cut, run, and fail (another new low), added yet another label to their title:
The party of degeneracy, disgrace, perjury, treason, and now cut and run failure.
The Democrite party of today is the absolutely lowest, vilest form of scum in the very bottom of the political pond, arguably lowest in the history of politics. I could never, ever join or support it; I’d rather just abolish politics and start all over with something new.
Stupid as the Republicans have been at times, as inept as Bush has been, as corrupt as the Republicans have been, they are still better than the lowest of the low: The Democritic Party.
There really are two enemies in the War on Terror: The terrorists, and the Leftist/Socialist/Democrite boll weevils. It seems both will have to be defeated.

I Am Lieutenant John Doe
I can’t help but be inspired. Though it’s really nothing new to most sensible Americans, I highly recommend you read The John Doe Manifesto, by Michelle Malkin. Here are some excerpts (click on the title for the link to Townhall

I absolutely agree. All 121 no’s were from the dems. Doesn’t that speak volumes folks? Of course it will be another interesting argument to hear what the liberals who visit here have to say about this one.
Is America supposed to be complacent and get the shit kicked out of it every so often? Well, in spite of the dems best efforts I truly hope the public will realize what a mistake they made in giving the Congress power to a despicable political party.

4, BonBon, according to Mattias, KEO, Tofu and the like, we are.
Maybe the libs are right when they scream about conservatives wanting to see the libs have the crap beat out of them. I think this ia Freudian slip by the libs betraying the cure for liberal stupidity, a beating a day.

Americans who care about safety can rest assured now that they will be safe from lawsuits filed out of revenge. For the press release from Rep. Bill Shuster, see at Michelle Malkin (via The Jawa Report). And here’s the Wash. Times’ article:

For the case upon to which this legal decision refers I would say, that it is absolutely right that flight personnel is authorized to make sure that also amongst the passengers of a plane there is no potential threat. It is not actually only their right but their duty!
On the other hand I am always scared of so-called laws/verdicts that minimize basic rights in a democratic state- especially if the reason for the decision is fear. The Third Reich was established with the help of such (de-)legislation.

Well Robert, I don’t know about you, but if the flight crew asks someone to take their seats and they refuse and get argumentative about it, I’ll ask the flight attendant if she needs assistance. If the attendant says “Yes”, I will put the offending person in his/her seat, conscious or otherwise. I won’t punch them, they’ll simply slip and hit their head on the overhead rack or seat arm 8 – 12 times. WEG. All the while I’ll be trying to help them up by holding their throats for them. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it. LOL
There should absolutely be a law protecting anyone who reports what they deem suspicious behavior on any form of public transportation. Let the authorities investigate and decide. Where the airline went wrong was in not having the Imams arrested for interferring with the duties of a flight crew by moving around the cabin and sitting in other than their assigned seats. Despite the fact that the flight was headed here to Phoenix, the local paper’s only coverage of the incident was a hit piece about the travails of flying while Muslim. It completely ignored the vast majority of the facts and didn’t get interviews from anyone on the plane except the Imams. One of whom is the head of an Islamic Center in Tucson where at least one of the 9/11 highjackers worshipped. They didn’t even interview the other Islamic passengers, only the Imams who greatly embellished their stories including statements that were factually wrong.
