In wartime past, decorum in all things was a part of the equation but that was also when humor wasn’t alway at someone else’s expense– long long ago. Funny is as funny does. I would have laughed except Carl, you are no John Lithgow, buddy. LOL

I still like the way Rove and Bush insulted the troops years ago at this press event by making light of them not finding WMD in Iraq. They looked under chairs and desks in the White House looking for those dreaded and feared WMD’s.

I am glad that Rove/Bush can find time to laugh at themselves as this country continues down the wrong track, month after month…year after year.

I hope the next resident of the White House can restore honor and dignity to the White House.

What I find offensive is the Republicans seem to be having a grand old time at their dinners and parties, when so many are living daily life in a war zone so far from home and loved ones. Guess we can see diplomacy is the last thing they care about! Instead of dancing like a bunch of idiots, maybe they can put their minds toward something constructive. They play and we pay! Sad, truly sad!

Considering the death, destruction and disaster this administration has wrought, Rove’s antics will make the Bushies – and America – look even more callous and out of touch to the world at large, fiddling while the world they’ve set aflame burns. Sure, there’s a time and a place to lighten up, even between reporters and the government figures they cover. But this is not the time.
