Perhaps that’s the case. But if mud slinging and fighting in the mud is all that intersts him, then I can see why he thinks the way he does. It takes rational thought to produce rational ideas.

Well, if this is the case then I will discontinue discussion with him. It would meanhe is insincere about what he is saying. I do not have the inclination to deal with folks who troll in this manner.

However, I have come to realize that internationally America has a unique concept of what freedom actually entails. We are purists when it comes to freedom as it permeates our culture to the core, and the only culture loke this world wide I think. “The Land of Free” isn’t just a moniker, but has depth and breadth here that many just don’t comprehend on a cultural basis. I’ve encountered it before with others, so I was thinking that this may be the case with Matthias.

Impossible to say if he isn’t being sincere though.

I don’t know- he hasn’t really had a consistant statement or argument to begin with. He flitters from point to point like a drunken butterfly. he asks a question- I answer it. I ask one, and he won’t answer.

Perhaps it is a language barrier issue. Maybe I should try a point to point, more direct approach with him on this issue- break down things to a more basic form.

No- freedom of speech is not what allows me to call you anything here- as I posted before and as you evidently did not understand it is the owners of this BBS and their agreement with their host that does this. With that said…

I never called you a Nazi- I said you displayed Nazi-esque behaviour. In this case, your Nazi-esque behaviour is believing the governement has a right to limit legitimate forms of free speech. The Nazi party also beleived this (the book burnings, etc), so this is a behaviour that you share with them- Nazi-esque behaviour.

The other Nazi-esque behaviour you showed is elitism. You showed this when critizing the Corporal in the video for his profession and where he was from. Similiar elitism was shown by Nazis in their belief in the Arayn Brotherhood and that they believed it was a superior race.

The point here is matthias you are coming full circle, and can’t really see the forst for the trees.
