You have NO idea how unfair a divorce is for fathers or how little say they have in raising thier children until you see what I have seen. My sister in law is as nuts as Kim Basinger. My sister in law tried everything to hurt my brother when he left her. She figured out the best way to hurt him was by being horrible to her own children. She has put three kids under the age of 8 through hell and back just to hurt my brother. I have a big family with 3 brothers and I am the only sister. On top of doing everytthing she could to make sure my brother got as little time with his kids as possible,she also tries to keep my family from the kids. She is a horrible bitter person who will stop at nothing to Lie cheat and do anything to hurt the kids so that my brother feels the sting of that. He has actually considered going back to this horrible women so as to spare the kids their childhood. I understand what how Alec has probably hit his limit in dealing with his wife and all of the restrictions around seeign his OWN CHILD. I could understand how he cracked. This man just wants to see and talk to his own kid. He has been fighthing that for 10 years. I am 100% sure Kim Basinger leaked this message to the press cause My sister in law (or soon to be ex thank god) would do exactly that. It doesn't matter that the little girl is now humilated. She wanted to wreck his career and ruin him. I absolutely empathize with Alec and his brothers and their whole family. I am sorry you have to go through this. They should lock Crazy Mothers like Kim Basinger and my sister in law up together. They should NOT be raising children. Fathers have NO rigths in a divorce. I will give this advice as someone who has seen the worst in people in the last year, If you don't 100% dispise your wife, do not leave as her if you have children. Its not workth it! The more angry and frustrated he becomes (and shows) the better she feels if this is her goal. What he needs to do is get some individual counseling and do his best to not show this behavior to his ex, or especially to his child. I wish him luck, as I know a divorce situation can be extremely frustrating. We simply do not know what his ex-wife is telling the little girl, nor do we know exactly how the child acts when Baldwin is around. I've seen preteen kids who are obnoxious and precocious. My ex-wife told our 5 yr old daughter that she didn't have to do anything that I told her, even though we were still together. On some of the daytime talk shows, there are 8 yr olds who swear like sailors and 12 yr olds out turning tricks for spending money. Of course their parents aren't able to discipline them because these kids know that all it takes is a weepy eyed call to CPS and their parents are headed to jail. I hate to sympathize with Baldwin, but maybe he needs to go spend some time with and get some counseling from his brother Stephen. Stephen is a minister and has a healthy number of children so he should be able to give his brother Alex not only anger management counseling but also parenting instruction as well. Yeah, I know the thought that Stephen Baldwin is a minister even catches his brothers off guard. I guess everyone can change when they decide to.
