In the Talking Points of the show, Bill pointed out how Soros is buying a radical left agenda
Soros has set up a complicated political operation designed to do two things: buy influence among some liberal politicians, and smear people with whom he disagrees.
Now here’s a chart of how Soros and a few other wealthy radicals who help him are funneling money into the political process. Stay with me on this. Most of Soros’ political money flows through his Open Society Institute. You see it there on the left, which is almost unlimited funding.
Since 2001, according to federal documents, the Open Society Institute has given nearly $20 million to the Tides Foundation right below that. An astounding amount.
Now Tides, in turn, funnels the money to a variety of radical hatchet men who are all well paid. For example, Tides has donated millions to the vile propaganda outfit Media Matters, which specializes in distorting comments made by politicians, pundits, and media people. Media Matters is an Internet site, but directly feeds its propaganda to some mainstream media people including elements at NBC News, columnist Frank Rich and Paul Krugman at The New York Times, columnist Jonathan Alter at Newsweek, and Bill Moyers at PBS. ” In fact, as president of the Shoeman Center Foundation, Moyers oversaw at least a $500,000 transfer of money to Media Matters. ” We’ll have more on that tomorrow.
Now George Soros is also pouring money into the Center for American Progress, run by former Clinton aide John Podesta, and the Democracy Alliance Group, both of which fund Media Matters as well. So you can see the enormous amount of money this Media Matters has control of.
Finally, George Soros has given the radical left organization Move On many, many millions of dollars. ” This group actively supports liberal politicians like Howard Dean and John Edwards. It also organizes demonstrations promoting left-wing causes.
So you can see how powerful this guy Soros has become. He can smear anyone he wants in a variety of ways. His organizations can raise millions for politicians, who will do his bidding. Thus, he can demand that politicians running for office do what he tells them to do.
If the liberal politician doesn’t toe the Soros line, he or she will be denied funding and brutally attacked. ” Just ask Senator Joseph Lieberman about what Move On and Media Matters did to him.
Now “Talking Points” has reason to believe John Edwards is taking orders from the Soros group right now. And other Democratic politicians may be as well.
The goal of George Soros, Peter Lewis, Suzy Thompkins Buell and other radical financiers is to buy a presidential election. “By that I mean find and fund a candidate who will tacitly do what he or she is told to do.
In the past, big business has been accused of doing just that. Now it is the likes of George Soros ” an extremist who wants open borders, a one world foreign policy, legalized drugs, euthanasia and on and on.

Just listen to the leftied deny this. They are all liars.
Lying and dishonesty is an intrinsic part of the Left half of the spectrum. Are there liars on the right side? Of course. But on the Left it is a fundamantal element of the entire orientation.
I do believe the left is dishonest and plan on reading this book. But I think their dishonesty lies in their view of America. Most conservatives, republicans, and independents see America as being one sovereign country with honest debate, presentation of different points of view, and ultimately compromises being the order of business. I think there are many, like George Soros, who is not from the U.S. and is weaseling his way into our politics and trying to exploit the far left vision of a world order in government and commerce among other things.
I said a long time ago that Soros is the single most dangerous threat to America. At one time, Soros also supported John McCain McCain, which is why I will NOT vote for him.
I didn’t know Soros once supported McCain however I don’t support McCain either. I think he has served his country and certainly deserves some kudos but I think at 73 he’s too old to be president. In this day and age its a younger mans game. But even if what you say is true Ted, the question becomes does he still support him and why? I doubt he does. Soros is a vicious, dangerous man.

Soros supported him in the 2000 Republican primaries. Once touched by Soros, always tainted IMO. Soros doesn’t support McCain now.
Yeah, McCain served his country, but so did Murtha and a slew of other folks. Kudos to them, but that doesn’t give them free ride subsequent actions.
One fundamental difference between McCain and Murtha is that one supports the troops and the other calls them ugly names.
One thing that people need to know about George Soros is that he is actively financing IANSA, the international gun ban organization. He and/or his minions have outright stated that they don’t care what the US Constitution may say, they’re not only going to push for a small arms ban in the UN, but they are going to do everything necessary to force the US citizenry to comply with it. With Hillary’s history of anti-gun comments and her ties to Soros, having her in the position to nominate a milquetoast pacifist to the UN this could lead to some serious trouble. The NRA bombarded the UN and John Bolton’s office with mail to stop the IANSA sponsored small arms ban conference at the UN last summer. That and John Bolton’s strength is why they closed the conference with no action. The woman who heads IANSA, has said that she intends to be back and that Americans don’t need to own anything other than a single shot rifle or shotgun with a range under 50 yards. She’s a Brit. If the UN passes a resolution to that effect (the US would have to sign off on it and the Senate approve it) it could lead to UN Peacekeepers being sent into the US to disarm the citizenry. A sure way to insure their death. While such an action would be a distinct violation of the Constitution, with the Dems actions on the war in Iraq, I believe that they would try just such a thing. George Soros has indicated that he favors disarming the US citizenry by force if necessary.
