Drudge has a story that this is true. She’s gone mid-June.
Peejz, Iowa Voice has a story up about The Bishop, who is a disgruntled former part-time postal worker from Dubuque who was arrested today in Dubuque. I have to go, but I emailed updates to the story to Brian and he is posting them. The Bishop is somewhat like the Unabomber, but he sent bombs to investment firms and demanded things like stocks be set at $666/share.

i heard Rosie’s oublic explanation, some jibberish about how they wanted to sign her for three years, but she only wanted to sign for one year. Uh, yeah, right! And I’m sure they wanted to pay her lots and lots of money also, but she wanted less, and well, they just couldn’t come to an agreement!

It’s kind of weird that she’s become such a thorn in the side of the right. I don’t care for her either (as she seems to be from the O’Reilly school of “if you say it loudly enough, it becomes true”), but is she really a threat? Does anyone actually get their news from this woman?

But folks on the right actually seem to believe that the above are real news sources (in fact, “Fox News” goes so far as to put the word “News” in its name). I’ve never heard a liberal cite Rosie as an authority (though I guess that it could happen).

No I’ve never heard one cite her as news either but that has never stopped some from singing her gospel and spreading her words around nor using her words as some sort of example.

Well this reminds me of when “Boycott Hollywood” first started and I’m definitely talking about this website in particular.
I don’t need celebrities thrusting their opinioins down my throat. Yes they do get the platform to do so on a daily basis but that doesn’t mean THEY SHOULD.
We RIP apart politicians when we don’t find them to have the experience or knowledge to back up statements they make so why in the hell would we WANT to hear from a celebrity whose sole bread and butter stems from ENTERTAINING PEOPLE?
I myself do not even listen to the likes of Rush Limbaugh. That might make me a very bad Republican but I don’t. I don’t care for the man. Never have and probably never will so I definitely won’t shed any tears for ANY bad press Rosie gets and I will NEVER take her words to be worth more than a grain of salt.
She’s a damn CELEBRITY and if she wasn’t NOBODY will give two shits about what she has to say.

Rosie’s opinion has as much validity as anyone else’s. Indeed in her case it has more since she’s informed and advocates for human rights.
Get ready for a rating’s plunge.
I’ll miss her adamant stance on human rights and her ability to back up what she says with research and an informed POV.
Actually I do ‘give TWO SHITS about what she has to say’ since she’s about the reality of important issues to humankind. I find it refreshing that Rosie has the strength on conviction to stand behind her fellow Americans and get these guys home from the oil war.
Now if only that feeble-minded Elisabeth Hasselbeck fembot would realize no one want to hear the rantings of an uninformed air-headed “Repbulican” (as she calls herself).
If that’s a Republican guys I suggest you all rethink your political affiliation. Rosie nailed her Stepford carcass to a wall on today’s The View.
I comment Barbara Walters for having the foresight to get Rosie to at least stay the one season and to do her recent 20/20 special on the plight of transgender children. It’s refreshing to know that some people still have conviction to human rights in this country.

I will address only the “Sandy” comment with regard to Ann Coulter.
Coulter is a self-promoting pig who (ideally) has nailed the last nail into Mitt Romney’s coffin by saying her John Edwards ‘f@ggot’ remark at his fund raiser.
The woman’s a public embarassment and you guys truly need to distance yourself from anything even remotely connected to the rantings of that disenfranchised sad sad woman.

Yeah had to laugh the other day because a fire, with far less total energy than that at the WTO buildings, caused steel beams to weaken and collapse in Oakland.

Reminds me of a buddy I knew long ago who came up with idea (as a pickup line) of telling women “I am a lesbian in a man’s body”. I don’t know for sure if he ever tried this line or if it worked, but I had to admire the creativity.

Considering that Rosie dropped out of the same college that Elizabeth Hasselbeck was a varsity athlete at, and graduated from with honors , I think I’d have to say my money’s on Elizabeth as the brains on the panel. I doubt I’d be too far off the mark if I said that Rosie probably spends more time studying the menu at her favorite restaurant than she does any of the ridiculous stances that she takes. Considering her comment that fire has never melted steel, I don’t see how anyone with any brains can give her any creedance.
