1, Snowy, because the Mexican officials would have to quit the graft and corruption. It is easier for them to send their overflow here and get gringo dollars from the people they send here.

    All part of the plan.
Mexico city order the mayor of L.A. To come home for talks most of the corrupt rats want the Hispanic population to keep quiet for now because last year showed what it was all about.

“MEXICO CITY AND THE THIRD WORLD RULERS RUNNING THING DON’T WANT YOU TO KNOW THE FACTS”, Bush had a talk with the Hispanic boys in congress and told the rats to go-along-to get-along for the one world boys, that is the real reason the mayday thing! fall-apart this year. Hell kids its a show to keep you calm for the big move in 2009.

    Nice.

Alienate the fastest growing segment of the US population.

I’ve been telling this to you guys here for years: you’re party is going to regret that it came down this hard on migrant workers from latin american countries.

These people, their kids and their relatives who are citizens and those not yet born, are going to remember that it was the Conservatives and the Republican Party who bullied them.

You’re losing future votes. Like, big time.

Much as the African Americans vote 90% Democratic, the Hispanics will do the same. And these people will be everywhere in 20 years.

San Fran what part of illegal do you fail to comprehend? I have no heartburn with them coming here LEGALLY. I’m actually in favor of allowing kids brought here illegally to earn US citizenship by serving in the military. It would provide them with job training, good pay, benefits and allow them to show their loyalty to the US. I know you think that’s a horrible idea, but the French came up with it. That’s how they man the Foreign Legion. All foreigners wanting to become French citizens.

The real problem is that they are statistically 6 times as likely to engage in criminal activity above and beyond just border jumping as a legal resident, citizen or otherwise. They also tend to put a drain on the economy in the forms of welfare, increased educational costs, and a huge drain on the medical system. Don’t tell me they aren’t a drain on the medical system, I’ve seen the local hospital close it’s emergency room TWICE in the last 4 years due to the illegals not paying their bills.

Like I said, I don’t have a problem with immigration, only illegal immigration. Yes the current system is broken. That doesn’t excuse them for breaking the law.

There is an inhuman situation going on with the gap between the haves and the have nots.

It’s nearly impossible for many on the “have” side to imagine the daily reality of the “have nots” and what they will go through to be given an opportunity to provide for themselves or their families.

This gap between rich and poor is the very heart of the immigration/illegal/legal issue.

There are people who will risk life and limb to live and work in america, and this is how you treat them?

This gap between rich and poor is the very heart of the immigration/illegal/legal issue.- That is Mexicos problem…and it has nothing to do with the rich in this country.

There are people who will risk life and limb to live and work in america, and this is how you treat them? There are those that follow the rules to get here legally..they come first.

SFL, you are a law breaker. I’d love to deport you to Cuba, Iran or Zimbabwe to see how your liberalism would fare there, and give your citizenship to an immigarant waiting in line for entry to the US. That immigrant would make a better citizen than you do.

The rich poor gap in this country isn’t the problem, it’s the gap between the corrupt rich and oppressed poor in MEXICO. Mexico has a wealth of natural resources and wonderful weather. The only reason why the country is as poor as it is, is the corruption of the families who have ruled it as a fiefdom since the revolution. BTW have you seen how the Mexican government treats aliens in their country illegally? We had an Arizona resident who was in a Mexican prison for 4 months because he forgot to take a box of 22 target ammo from his truck before trying to drive across the border. It cost him over $10,000 in legal fees. Maybe we should treat illegals we catch with guns in this country the same way. They only represent over half of the wanted murderers in LA county. They only represent over 20% of the prison population in this country. I can see why we shouldn’t bother requiring that they go through background checks. They sound like such salt of the earth.

People have wanted to come to this country for over 200 years to improve their lot in life. The difference is that they didn’t do it by sneaking across the border. They went about doing it legally. I’m not saying that the system isn’t broken. I’m saying that just because a law needs to be changed doesn’t mean you break it or refuse to enforce it. Every other ethnic group that wanted to come here had to go through criminal background checks, medical screenings, and have a sponsor who agreed to insure that they weren’t going to be destitute.
