A backpack explosion at 4am PST this morning. One dead:
A backpack exploded in a parking garage attached to a Las Vegas hotel early Monday, killing a man who had picked it up and injuring another person, authorities said.The man had removed the backpack from atop his car when it exploded shortly after 4 a.m. on the second floor of a parking behind the Luxor hotel-casino, said Officer Bill Cassell, a police spokesman.The second person was taken to an area hospital.The second person was taken to an area hospital.Aerial video showed no apparent damage to the parking structure, where entrances were blocked while police, firefighters and federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives agents investigated. The local Vegas news says it was an employee that was targeted. The bomb went off at 4 am.

I don’t think even Al Quaeda is dumb enough to use a backpack bomb in a Vegas Casino. US casinos have so many cameras in them that it is almost Orwellian. You may never know exactly which ones are turned on you, but if you’re on casino property and not in a hotel or restroom, you’re on a camera. The ability to record everything digitally has made it possible for the casinos to install even more cameras since they no longer have to warehouse VHS tapes for the thousands of cameras a large casino will hold. I’m guessing it was probably either a disgruntled gambler wanting to get even with a dealer or pit boss, or a disaffected spouse going after someone their spouse was having a fling with on the side. Odds are in favor of the latter.

The word is back on the Luxor Bombing. One illegal alien and his illegal alien friend, blew up another illegal alien who was seeing the illegal alien girlfriend of the first illegal alien. All of them had hispanic names. Of course they are all just here to do jobs Americans won’t do. I guess that includes blowing up other illegal aliens.
