Oh what a beautiful day……Talk  around  the blogosphere varies on the Democrats caving on Iraq:

Captain Ed’s expecting riots in nutrootsville. What for? Between the rumors about Gordon Brown pulling out and Republicans defecting in numbers to the anti-war side in September if things don’t change, they might as well just give Bush his money and stand back. It denies the GOP any excuse with which to blame them later if/when things finally go irretrievably south, which has always been one of their utmost concerns. In fact, the Iraqi defense minister acknowledged today for the first time that he’s drawing up contingency plans for an abrupt American pullout. Everyone knows the score.

Bush isn’t going to ride Maliki all the way down the hill if things don’t turn around soon, whatever he might have said on the phone today

I would have thought that Rosie would be talking about this in the morning, but given her behavior today, I’m not sure Babs can afford to keep her on until June!

Here is the video of the original discussion. Here is video of today’s show.

Sometimes I see and hear what these lefties say about pulling out of Iraq. I saw Rudy interviewed last night on Hannity’s America. He said if we say we lost and pulled out it would be a self fullfilling prophecy in losing the war. I couldn’t have agreed more. Just like Vietnam, when we push for defeat we will find it.

I just hope that cooler heads prevail and we won’t have to deal with the consequences of foolish retreat. People like Rosie need to be put in their place over and over and over again until they get it. Perhaps a visit to OBL might do her some good. Of course she called the troops terrorists, and Bush, and me for that matter because I believe that terrorists are out to get us.
