HOWEVER, they are Americans and by virtue of the fact they are Muslims they should really be trying very hard to get the message out that they renounce radical Islam and that they want to help with this problem. To not do so is just as irresponsible. I agree that American Muslims think of themselves as Americans first and no need to apologize. And you are correct.
