“Much like 90% of blacks vote Democrat, the latinos – a HUGE group of people – will vote (D).”

And that is how our resident liberal sees the issue.  So my question is, is that how the Democrats see the issue?  Won’t the majority of  those new citizens will be in our welfare class?

  5. SFL stands for nothing and is willing for the country to lose everything.

  6. My perspective is that’s one of the fundamental differences between liberals and conservatives. Liberals want an anything goes society with anarchy being the order of the day. Don’t protect America because it’s not worth the time, money or effort. Conservatives on the other hand abide by and realize the importance of rule of law, societal structure and the protection of America at all costs. We have been a ruling force, looked up to by many nations and our capitalist society brings opportunities and jobs to many, not just the elitist few.

It generally goes unnoticed that many working poor end up in a comfortable middle class. Some even get rich but getting rich isn’t the point. Comfort and stability is. It’s what the dems don’t get.

  7. 2, BonBon, with liberals like SFL, Lenny, and Tofu as our examples, they are angry that they just can’t take what they want and are irresponsible enough do deny that people would have to be enslaved to satisfy their desires.

  18. San Francisco Liberal

I 100% stand by my comment.

The anti-immigrant wing of the republican party is doing a fine job of scaring latino voters away into the arms of the democratic party.

This whole anti-immigrant dope you people are all high on has been around before. The Chinese Exclusionary act, anti-Irish, anti-German, the list goes on and on…

The fundamental heart of the matter – way beyond the whole tax and crime smokescreen – is this: conservative white americans do not want brown people in their neighborhoods or going to school with their white children.

Latino voters, among many others, do/will see through this thinly veiled racism and reject the political party that is fostering it.

  20. Oh please! Conservatives have no problem with legal immigrants of any shade..we have a problem with illegals that start their citizenship out by breaking a law….

Let’s get into racism though….This is about the 10th time you have made the illegals nothing but a vote for democrats, just like the blacks…who is the racist?

  21. I dont want to sound racsist but their still slaves of the demacratic party when it was a republican president that freed them

  22. SFL, again, you don’t believe in the rule of law. That is it why you are a liberal in SF. You can’t be told, “No!”.

Just try going to Mexico by sneaking, try to buy land and ger at job. You will be arrested by the Mexicans because all three of those actions by Non-Mexicans in Mexico is against the law there.
