I am happy to see that Fred Thompson decided to run. I felt he was a strong senator, and I am willing to listen to what he has to say. Too bad the NYT’s doesn’t understand that he just plays a DA on t.v.

Oh and don’t forget to add to the list, William “Cold Cash” Jefferson indicted on bribery and corruption charges. Does anyone have any ideas on WHY WASN’T THIS DONE PRIOR TO LAST NOVEMBER’S ELECTION? I understand that he’s from New Orleans so being indicted or for that matter being in jail won’t necessarily stop him from being elected, but it sure wouldn’t have hurt his opponent to have Jefferson spending time in a judge’s chambers versus the House’s chambers.
