Oh yes the american public no longer trusts this swaggering fool:razz:
It’s because people like me who would normally approve of him, would at this time say that I don’t approve, if asked.
they (the dems) just aren’t doing enough to change things.
the iraq bill was the biggest let down for their base. THIS is what drives his numbers down. not because people don’t agree with his politics.
2- Great points made, but I would argue that you would have a hard time explaining what his politics are, when he is so all over the map with them…well him and 99 other members of the Senate:wink:
Well San Fran the reason why the Iraq bill was such a let down was that the Dems have been lying to their far liberal left all along in pursuit of votes. They’ve known from the outset that all of their political rhetoric is nothing but political rhetoric. They know full well that we don’t dare pull out of Iraq early. They also know that to do so would cause a blood bath similar to the one in Cambodia after the US left indochina. While many Dems contend that we should send US troops into Darfur to stop the genocide occurring there, they refuse to admit that the same thing would happen should we pull out of Iraq. They claim that the US military is too small and stretched thin, but they are the party that shrank the military substantially during Clinton’s time in the White House and also are the party that has continually foisted substandard or inadequate equipment onto the troops. They insist on issuing line troops M9 Berettas and M16s, despite there being far more reliable weapons, including simple modifications that special ops forces are already using, being on the market. My main complaint with them is that they know that their rhetoric is being used as propaganda by the enemy, emboldening them and causing the deaths of more American soldiers in the process. They want to continually and vocally criticize the war effort while refusing to accept responsibility for their actions. They posture for and support defeat only as long as they think that they can escape the fall out scot free.
