Dog Registered to Vote: It’s So Easy!

And they are thinking of charging the owner with a felony?

The second time Duncan M. MacDonald sent in an absentee ballot, an election worker in Federal Way, Wash., called to ask about the paw print on the envelope. But it took three ballots before the prosecutor contacted the voting dog’s owner.

Jane Balogh said she registered the Australian shepherd-terrier mix to vote in protest of a 2005 state voter-registration law that she says makes it too easy for noncitizens to vote.

She put her phone bill in Duncan’s name, then used the phone bill as identification to register him as a voter.

“I wasn’t trying to do anything fraudulent. I was trying to prove that our system is flawed. So I got myself in trouble,” she says.

3, Mattias, again, just because the US is not as stupidly liberal as you are doesn’t give you any right to an opinion of our elections.

    2.

    PCD,

I disagree with you. Matthias has every bit as much of a right to have an opinion regarding your elections as much as you or I do.

I happen to agree with him. The dogs can’t do much worse than they did in 2006 (the last elections).

Ted, I’ll disagree with you a bit. Mattias is not a citizen. Mattias has demostrated he really knows nothing about our voting laws and knowing very little about our culture.

I don’t comment on German elections and Germany allowing people not to assimilate into the German culture.

You didn’t comment when the new German leader that was elected was a consevative? I certainly did. You didn’t comment on the French elections that ushered out Chirac and ushered in Sarkosky (sp)?

As far as Matthias being ignorant about our culture and voting laws- that is completely obvious. He really doesn’t know his head from a hole in the ground. But he has a right to be ignorant, wouldn’t your agree? As long as he doesn’t unduly influence them, and thus intervering with our rights as a sovereign nation (like Soros does) he can post completely ignorant utterences on this or any other site as much as he wishes AFAIC.

5- “I don’t comment on German elections and Germany allowing people not to assimilate into the German culture.”

Why not? Our [German] current left-right-coalition government sucks as well…
I don’t mind anyone sharing or not sharing this view.

I believe this dog was registered as a Democrat. THere was a lot of vote fraud committed in King County to get their Governor elected.
