A funny thing happened on PBS this weekend. The head of the NYT Iraq Bureau said that the US military presence in Iraq has had a calming influence and is helping to reduce sectarian violence there. I wonder if he’s been told to clear out his desk yet?

I would like to see them become their own little country. It wouldn’t bother me in the least. There should be certain rules laid out though such as no tax money goes to their little libby cubbie hole. No sending out for help on ANYTHING without paying a hefty price first and last but not least they should pay the United States Federal Government rent on their use of our land.

I wonder how long they would last?

You guys are funny but the sad part of it is that you are correct. Liberals (SFL for one) don’t believe terrorism is a threat and don’t for a minute want to even secure America.

I personally think we should keep the city of San Francisco as isolated and alone as possible. They seem to like it that way and I know I certainly don’t want my tax money to go for any security for them.
